PlayStation has now sold more PS4 games than it did PS2 titles, even though the newer console has sold 40 million fewer units. Sony has published its report for the last financial year, and it’s pretty much all positive for PlayStation. It has sold 7.8 million PS5s so far, achieving its goal of outdoing what the PS4 managed to sell during its first fiscal year. It wasn’t all bad news for the PS4, though....

The Return Of Willow And The Answer To The Film S Biggest Question

This article appears in the next issue of DEN OF GEEK magazine. SUBSCRIBE HERE! Years before his triumphant and game-changing Star Wars trilogy, George Lucas had an idea for a sprawling fantasy story about an aspiring sorcerer and a prophesied hero. But it wouldn’t be until over a decade later that he began to bring that story to life. Starring Return of the Jedi‘s Warwick Davis, the Ron Howard-helmed Willow was an epic fantasy yarn, and although it failed to set the box office on fire, it captured the imaginations of young viewers everywhere....

The Suicide Squad Game Should Take Inspiration From The Hunt For Harley Quinn

The big news around Suicide Squad right now is the movie, seeing as the latest trailer dropped last Friday. I’m a huge Suicide Squad fan (the series, not the first movie), and I loved the range of characters in the trailer, the more Birds of Prey-style Harley Quinn, and Joel Kinnaman’s less caricatured take on Rick Flagg, but I still feel a little once bitten, twice shy about the whole thing....

Things Waluigi Can Do That Wario Can T

When we’re asked to think of the first tall, purple, uncomfortable thing we can think of, the vast majority of us will, unfortunately, think of Barney the Dinosaur. This is understandable considering most of us grew up having that violet monstrosity dance before our eyes day in, day out, before being introduced to Rugrats. But alas, I digress. Back to the thought experiment: if you push your memory a little harder you might recall the purple prankster himself, Waluigi!...

True Story And The Diverse Career Of Wesley Snipes

He’s a five-time black belt who showed off a fluid brutality in action films such as the Blade franchise; yet when he went to school, he was originally convinced his future and passion lay in performative dance. He’s a four-time winner of the NAACP Image Awards; he’s played villains, criminals, and that one bleached-blond fiend who wanted to blow up Sylvester Stallone in Demolition Man. He’s worked with the likes of Denzel Washington, Robert De Niro, and Spike Lee in some of the auteur’s most seminal films, but his first big break was being the tough guy who taught Michael Jackson how to be “Bad” in that Martin Scorsese music video....

Twitch Appears To Be Testing Private Subscriber Only Streams

Twitch might be testing private, subscriber-only streams to see how they work out. Currently, Twitch allows anyone to view any channel they want, whenever they want. Viewers won’t get nearly as many features as subscribers, such as being able to “cheer” on the streamer or keep track of various channels, but by and large, the site works very similarly to YouTube. That might be about to change. A new system being tested would prevent non-subscribers from viewing a channel and instead show them a short preview of what they’re missing....
