This Van Helsing article contains major spoilers for the season 5 premiere. From the dynamically retooled opening title sequence to the Jack-centric Transylvania storyline, it takes only moments to recognize that Van Helsing’s fifth and final season promises to take fans on a wild ride as it brings to a close its delightfully circuitous tale of horror’s most iconic vampire hunting family. Season premiere “Past Tense” doesn’t represent the first time the Van Helsing family story finds itself in the past, but there seems to be a more concerted effort this time to employ traditional time travel elements as the unanswered questions mount....

Visceral Games won the hearts of many video game fans through the creation of the Dead Space games, but unfortunately the studio is now no more. Publisher and parent company Electronic Arts has revealed that is has closed down Visceral Games in a recent statement. “Our Visceral studio will be ramping down and closing,” stated Electronic Arts’ Patrick Soderlund in the release. “We’re in the midst of shifting as many of the team as possible to other projects and teams at EA....

Dead Space developer Visceral Games and publisher Electronic Arts have made no secret about their intentions to craft a new franchise out of their survival shooter. In keeping with that theme, a set of job listings have popped up for the developer that claim to be for the Dead Space franchise. Though the positions — senior development director, audio director, and senior VFX artist — don’t give any indication about what type of title they would be working on, it’s still great to hear that Dead Space 2 did well enough to keep the series going....

There is a chance that fans may get to watch the longest episode of WandaVision this Friday. A post on Reddit’s MarvelStudiosSpoilers subsection claims that Episode 8 of the popular Disney Plus show will have a runtime of 47 minutes. If this is true, the upcoming episode will bypass the current record held by Episode 5, “On a Very Special Episode…”, with a runtime of 42 minutes. The leak comes from a Reddit user, “u/Plenty_Echidna_544”, who correctly predicted the length of Episode 7, “Breaking the Fourth Wall”, at 38 minutes and was even verified by the moderators....

Raven Software has confirmed its team is hard at work creating a next-gen upgrade for Call of Duty: Warzone. The transition from last-gen to new-gen consoles this time around has been unlike any other. Five months in and neither the PS5 nor the Xbox Series X/S offer much in the way of exclusives. Both libraries are made up of mostly titles that have a foot in each generation, or last-gen titles that have been dragged into the new generation....

The YouTube channel Arekkz Gaming gives fans a look at roughly 20 minutes of gameplay from Ubisoft’s forthcoming title South Park: The Fractured But Whole. In order to promote South Park: The Fractured But Whole, Ubisoft has used a lot of its resources over the last few months to create several clips involving the title’s gameplay, such as the combat-driven footage shown in its gamescom 2016 trailer. Of course, as many fans will likely agree, while these bite-sized snippets of action and in-game materials have been appetizing, they have only caused an even greater craving for more gameplay from the studio’s forthcoming South Park: The Fractured But Whole....

Ubisoft releases a teaser trailer for Watch Dogs 2, which indicates that a full reveal for the upcoming sequel will take place this coming Wednesday, June 8th. The first Watch Dogs was the highlight of Ubisoft’s E3 2012 press conference, and so many assumed that Watch Dogs 2 would close out the show for the company at this year’s event. On the contrary, Ubisoft has decided to spill the beans on Watch Dogs 2 ahead of its E3 press conference next week, releasing a teaser trailer today for a full reveal that will take place on Wednesday, June 8th at 9:00AM Pacific....

Waypoint (the gaming arm of Vice) recently announced it’ll be hosting the third annual Save Point gaming marathon event from September 16 - 20, 2020. This year’s event will be to support The National Bail Out Collective, and will stream live on Waypoint’s Twitch channel. Currently, The Sims 4 community is seeing a lot of negativity, mostly as a result of the recent Eco Lifestyle expansion pack announcement.
