While London has been often rumored to be the next Watch Dogs setting, the Watch Dogs Legion listing makes clear it’s not going to be the London most are familiar with. The listing describes the setting as a “near-future, dystopian version of London,” where “society, politics and technology have changed and altered London’s fortunes.” The “post-Brexit” London is described as ripe for a Watch Dogs sequel due to its well-known reputation for surveillance levels....

The PC Gaming Show 2020 has finally touched down, gracing us mortals with a smattering of various new arrivals and upcoming titles. Our hosts were the wonderfully charming Sean “Day9” Plott and Frankie Ward, both of whom did an excellent job with the presentation. The show opened on a strong, emotional note, as Day9 offered words of solidarity and recommended support via The Bundle For Racial Justice & Equality. At launch, The Sims 4 was highly criticized for lacking in-depth gameplay and certain aspects that characterized the franchise. Things like pools, ghosts, and basements weren’t included when the game first dropped, and were added in later through patches. In fact, the “toddler” life stage was notoriously missing until a patch in 2017, three years after the base game’s release, finally added them to the game. Last week we reported that despite being warned, Valve did nothing to fix a massive Source Engine vulnerability for the past two years. However, the vulnerability now appears to be fixed. Not-for-profit reverse-engineering group, The Secret Club, combs through publicly available software and publishes vulnerabilities in hopes that the developers fix them before the event of a major data breach. The group had reportedly approached Valve with the issue, but to no avail....

One of the biggest surprises during today’s PC Gaming Show was that Torchlight 3 is now available on Steam in early access. The one-year anniversary of Borderlands 2’s release may be just a short month away, but many fans of the shooter/action RPG have yet to put down their legendary rocket launchers or sniper rifles. So far, Gearbox’s barrage of DLC packs for the game have raised the level cap to 61 and kept fans busy for the last 11 months.
