Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft’s virtual vehicle for announcing upcoming titles and news, happened today, featuring a good deal of clarification on upcoming titles, like the fact that Watch Dogs Legion will be a Series X launch title, and announcing new games. Some of these are a bit more extreme than others. Ubisoft announced Riders Republic, a game about the most extreme of extreme sports. Not just one sport either; it is a simulator for multiple dangerous, thrilling activities....

With Uncharted: The Lost Legacy having recently gone gold, fans of the action-adventure franchise are undoubtedly ready to join the game’s main characters Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross on their quest to find the vaunted mystical artifact the Tusk of Ganesha. Since the title’s launch date is about a month away, its developers have been steadily promoting the game to further the hype, with the forthcoming release’s writer Josh Scherr having recently declared that Naughty Dog could potentially spin the project off into a new series altogether....

As we approach the final quarter of 2011, we must prepare for the busiest time of the year for video game releases. While 2011 has a been a very good year for PlayStation 3 exclusives, the biggest one yet is still two months away: Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 3. Bringing back Nathan Drake and friends, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception continues the international adventure and comes packed with a revamped multiplayer component....

The Uncharted trilogy was one of the most well loved series of the last console generation. The PlayStation exclusive titles told the story of Nathan Drake, and Naughty Dog succeeded in impressing gamers with a fantastic adventure and lavish environments. The three main games from the story have even transcended console generations, and will reappear as a remastered trilogy that will hit on October 9 at an updated 60FPS. Nathan Drake’s story has not reached its conclusion just yet, however, as Naughty Dog has been working away on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End....

By now, the development troubles during the making of Destiny have become the stuff of gaming legend. While Jason Schreier detailed some of those issues during an earlier piece written for Kotaku, however, his latest announcement seems to indicate there is a lot more of that story left to tell. Schreier announced on his Twitter yesterday that he would be releasing a book called Blood, Sweat, and Pixels, and one of the stories it would cover would be more about Destiny’s difficult development stages....

Despite its rough launch, Bethesda is still keen to both support Fallout 76 brand new content and with corrections of the technical issues the game encountered during its first few months of release. With the newest update for Fallout 76, it appears as if most of the game’s major bugs have now been fixed, and the team can look forward to adding more new content for players looking to return to the online wasteland....

It’s been a while since Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premiered on Disney+. It’s meant to serve as an end to the sci-fi saga (that already ended twice), but if you think Disney is done printing money in the form of new Star Wars content, you’d better think again. Players of the new Riot Games title Valorant can see its hero-based tactical FPS approach to be a fresh break from similar titles like Overwatch and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Additionally, Valorant offers a new take on bomb chase mechanic by giving players access to 11 Agents, each with their unique abilities. This factor makes each match unique, with every squad going into battle with a different lineup. Unfortunately, having to absorb all this information might be overwhelming for new players....

Riot has posted the full patch notes for Valorant‘s 1.03 update, and they include a pretty significant change to the game’s Guardian rifle. While Riot notes that they feel Valorant “is looking fairly stable thus far” after the game’s latest patch, they do highlight the Guardian rifle as one of the biggest issues they feel need to be addressed sooner rather than later. Basically, the team feels that the Guardian wasn’t being treated as the economic, long-range, precision-based option they wanted it to be....

The Valorant closed beta has been a big success, with the game quickly becoming one of the most popular titles on streaming platforms. However, it’s been famously difficult for many players to actually get into the Valorant beta, meaning most players have only been able to watch streams of the game instead of actually playing it. That will change sooner rather than later, as Riot Games has officially announced the Valorant release date, and it’s only a couple of weeks away....

American video game developer Valve Corporation has let go of 13 people and more contractors, according to media reports, mostly in the VR sphere. In a statement sent to Upload VR, Valve said the situation “does not represent any major changes at the company” and wished the employees well in any new work they may have. One of the former Valve workers, Nat Brown, made a posting on Twitter a few days ago saying that he is no longer working at Valve as of Feb....

The Nilfgaardian reach is extensive, and The Continent in the Witcher world is far from small. At this point in time, fans of Dark Souls are tired of critics comparing other games to FromSoftware’s legendary series. Barely a week after it was officially announced that Johnny Depp would be departing from the Fantastic Beasts franchise, Warner Bros. is already looking for replacements.
