When Titanfall 2 developer Respawn Entertainment announced that gameplay DLC for the title would be free, many fans were impressed, and the studio has been true to its word. Now, the next batch of free DLC for the shooter has been confirmed, in the form of the Colony Reborn DLC pack. This additional content will be available to players from March 30, 2017. If the name Colony sounds familiar to Titanfall 2 players who also owned the original game, there’s a reason for that....

With the end of 2020 on the horizon, several publishers are gearing up to give back to their large communities, with the Epic Games Store slated to hand out a whopping 15 free games starting next week. However, it seems another publisher is looking to join in on the festive fun, with Ubisoft announcing it will be holding a “Happy Holidays” event from December 14 to 18 that will allow players to grab some free goodies....
So, remember Starlink: Battle for Atlas? That Ubisoft toys-to-life game that turned out to just be Star Fox in disguise? Well, it’s free now on PC, but you probably won’t want it because it has none of the Star Fox content that made it so great on the Nintendo Switch. Starlink initially launched with just Fox McCloud as an available pilot, but the rest of the Star Fox gang arrived in the big Crimson Moon update last April....
When Middle-earth: Shadow of War wowed gamers with its intuitive Nemesis recruitment system, gamers predicted that similar systems would begin popping up in other AAA titles too. It looks like the team behind Assassin’s Creed Odyssey took notice of the positive fan reaction, as the upcoming Ubisoft title will allow players to recruit warriors in a similar manner. Downed enemies can be recruited to the player’s naval crew, becoming lieutenants and granting various bonuses....
You’d think with all of the sexual abuse allegations being thrown at its executives, Ubisoft would have more pressing issues to address than game prices right now. Apparently, that isn’t the case. During the company’s Q1 earnings call today, CEO Yves Guillemot was asked about a potential price increase for its next-generation offerings this year and shot down speculation that it would follow in 2K’s footsteps. “For the Christmas games, we plan to come with the same price as the previous generation of consoles,” Guillemot stated....
As of October 1st 2020 the three Disney children’s channels currently available in the UK – Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior – will no longer exist. From that date onwards, streaming service Disney Plus will be the exclusive home to Disney’s children’s programming in the UK. That means after September, Disney Plus will be the UK’s sole legitimate route to shows such as XD’s DuckTales, Star Wars Resistance and Marvel’s Spider-Man, as well as popular re-runs of Disney titles such as the magnificent Phineas and Herb and Gravity Falls....

Surviving the purgatory world of Valheim requires players to collect resources and craft weapons and build homes for protection. After over a month of teasing its reveal, the Valve Index has officially been unveiled to the public. The new VR headset offers a premium experience, and has a pretty premium price to boot. Valve is promoting the Valve Index as a state-of-the-art VR headset. The Index’s full kit will sell for a whopping $999, and plans to ship by June 28th. Unlike recent wireless forays into VR like the upcoming Oculus Quest and Nintendo Labo VR, the Valve Index requires players to have their headset connected to a high-range computer by a cable....
