The Uncharted movie - which has had the bumpiest start to a development process possible - apparently has a new release date. If all goes well, we’ll be having Nathan Drake grace our cinema screens in July 2021. The original release date of November 2021 seems to be no more, then. Quite the ambitious move, especially seeing as shooting - which should already have been rumbling along nicely by now - got shut down on the very first day according to lead actor Tom Holland....
Triss Merigold is one of the most popular characters in The Witcher 3. She is powerful, funny, and kind. It is her kindness that makes her stick out due to the number of morally questionable individuals in the game. Although she wasn’t always that way, as in the books and the earlier games, she could be manipulative and cruel at times. Microsoft’s incredible FPS Boost technology is making a fan-favorite game even better today. EA announced that a slew of games on EA Play would be receiving higher framerate support, the least of which is Respawn’s excellent Titanfall 2. With support for 120 FPS playback on both Xbox Series X and S, this has now become the definitive console version of the game. Along with Titanfall 2, the original Titanfall will also get 120 FPS support, but only on Series X....
After the poor reception to to Tony Hawk: Ride and Shred, fans had high hopes with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. Envisioned as an arcade-y revival of the franchise, initial gameplay footage showed characters doing the same old jumps, flips and board grabs, but this time they would be able to electrify their boards and fire projectiles from them. However, this didn’t go down well with fans at all and a recent visual update, which changed the semi-realistic look of the game to a more cartoon-y cel-shaded one has also been received badly....
Call of Duty Warzone is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch. It is a well-crafted battle royale with new mechanics that change up the formula. The best part: it’s free. Call of Duty’s second battle royale adds the gulag, a chance to get back in the game via a one v one match. It also includes the ability to use custom load-outs and respawn your teammates. It’s a somewhat realistic battle royale but players know how to make it interesting....

Twitch finally has a directory for esports broadcasts. Back in the day when Twitch first got started, esports was Twitch’s bread and butter. Valheim update 0.148.6 has arrived after a slight delay. Iron Gate Studio had to wait for Valve to patch a Steam socket so they could add a few networking tweaks to the game, which Vikings on a poor connection are sure to appreciate. However, players might be less appreciative of a gameplay change that nerfs the greydwarf toaster farm. Bonfires, campfires, and hearths now take damage as they deal damage, meaning after a while they simply put themselves out....
Riot Games’ tactical shooter Valorant has been out for almost a year, but its momentum is still growing, as it recently introduced the game’s 15th agent, Astra. The Episode 2, Act 2 battlepass launched with the newest update, and one of Valorant’s gun buddies, in particular, has a touching backstory. In Valorant, gun buddies are cosmetic charms that can be assigned to certain guns to provide a little extra flair. Known by slightly different names in other games, these weapon charms have appeared in Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and more....
