The Realm of Magic game pack for The Sims 4 finally introduced magic to the game. It includes the brand new occult lifestate of spellcaster and allows sims to cast spells and create potions. There’s also a brand new world with a hidden secret. For those who are looking to forge themselves a new life full of magic and mischief, this pack is for you. It has a few bugs, such as clipping issues, but overall the content is variable and more extensive than expected for a game pack....

There is quite a bit happening this week in the world of CS:GO. In esports, ESP announced its Road to Rio groups with games in Europe, North America, and South America beginning on April 22. The CIS region will begin its games on April 30, and Asia and Oceana will be the final group to begin on May 6. Just over 4,000 fans have signed a new petition wanting EA to remake Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic with the game’s 20th anniversary only a few years away. The petition, which was created earlier this summer, encourages EA to remake the fan-favorite RPG with modern graphics, bringing the game to a whole new audience who may have yet to experience the classic BioWare game. Knights of the Old Republic was originally released in 2003 on PC and Xbox....

When it comes to choosing the best James Bond actor, the first name that’s likely to come up is Sean Connery. As usual, the actor who made the role iconic set a very high bar for all who followed. But Roger Moore’s tongue-in-cheek campness, Pierce Brosnan’s irresistible suaveness, and Daniel Craig’s authentic grit have all been widely praised. In fact, just about every Bond actor is considered a serious contender for the best except for George Lazenby, who only did one movie, and Timothy Dalton, who only did two....

A series that has suffered from several critical road bumps, Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia still remains one of their most notable franchises with many fans of the platforming action titles awaiting news on a new game after 2010’s Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. Post E3 2013, the Head of Ubisoft Europe, Alain Corre, even revealed to the media that all of Ubisoft’s key franchises have something “cooking,” also admitting that “some are cooking longer than others, but they’re cooking....

“Oh cool, there’s another Avatar game coming out.” I said to my housemates as I watched the Ubisoft Forward event. “Another?”, they both asked, visible confusion on their faces. Am I the only one who remembers Ubisoft’s 2009 effort, James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game? Apparently I am. I enjoyed it back then, but oh man, was it a product of its time. Not only was it available in 3D if you had a 3D TV, it had multiple campaigns that were pretty much just mirrors to each other....

UFC 4 is an excellent game that does a great job of capturing the very complicated combat sport in videogame form. However, the game isn’t without its issues especially when it comes to playing online whether it’s in ranked or in a friendly match. These issues usually stem from some players being able to exploit the game’s mechanics until it’s patched by EA Right now, the biggest offenders are the clinch spammers and UFC 4 doesn’t offer any real way to defend or deny the clinch as they could do in UFC 3....

On October 5, we are getting a Venom movie. Kind of crazy, right? At least this one won’t have any dorky dance sequences in it. Anyway, if you want to read up on Venom before he hits the big screen again, it’s a bit of a tall order because there’s been a handful of different guys under the black goo and many comics with his name on the cover. When Warner Bros. made the historic decision to put Wonder Woman 1984, a blockbuster superhero movie and their biggest film slated for 2020, on HBO Max the same day as its Christmas premiere, we wondered if it would “end theatrical releases as we know them.” We don’t have to wonder anymore. In a significant transition to a day-and-date model that makes Wonder Woman’s break of the theatrical window look like a small crack, WB announced Thursday that its entire film slate for 2021 was going to premiere on HBO Max....

Call of Duty: Warzone players have been victim to some pretty hilarious gameplay occurrences that involve, more often than not, unfortunate deaths. Enter one player whose fun was ruined by a loadout dropped while flying a helicopter. In a video posted to Reddit by user bens1088, the player prepares to enter a helicopter and fly on their way past a gas station. However, the fun ends when a loadout clashes with the vehicle, causing its destruction and the Call of Duty: Warzone player’s inevitable death....

Thanks to Watch Dogs: Legion, fans of Ubisoft’s tech-centric franchise can take DedSec’s fight to futuristic London. Moreover, unlike other Watch Dogs games, Legion allows players to recruit Operatives that can help DedSec liberate the now CTOS-integrated city. Thankfully, the game’s “play as anyone” recruitment system enables players to literally recruit and play as one of fiction London’s 9-million NPCs. Interestingly, each NPC players encounter have unique sets of skills and abilities called Perks....

XCOM 2 was only announced three weeks ago, with the revelation that the canon storyline saw Earth submit to the will of the invasive alien force. Twenty years later, humans are more-or-less brainwashed into thanking their alien rulers as benevolent benefactors, and celebrations for ‘Unification Day’ are underway in the beginning of the game. Firaxis Games showed a 10 minute long gameplay demonstration at E3 2015, which showed a guerrilla force of XCOM operatives embark on a sabotage mission....

On Watchmen, the enigmatic Lube Man was the hero that no one deserved, needed right now, or even asked for…but he was beloved all the same. As depicted very briefly in Watchmen’s fourth episode, Lube Man patrolled the streets of Tulsa, Oklahoma with two bottles of SPF-666 to keep himself as lubricated as possible and able to squeeze through tight spaces. The show’s supplemental material strongly hinted at Lubey’s real identity....
