Pokémon GO’s month of throwback events continue and one Pokécoin bundles are coming to an end. May is all about revisiting some of Pokémon’s older regions. Last week, trainers were tasked with working their way through nine different stages of challenges. Each one was based on a different Kanto gym leader, and completing all nine resulted in a Mewtwo encounter. This week, it’s the turn of the Johto region. Again, there are nine stages, each with three tasks to complete....

The Regi line of Legendary Pokémon is gaining a couple of new members, as two new Regis are coming to The Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon Sword & Shield. Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire introduced the three Legendary Titans to the series, in the form of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. These gained a trio master in Pokémon Diamond & Pearl, in the form of Regigigas, which is an incredibly slow but powerful Pokémon....

Although Diablo and Darksiders are completely different games in terms of genre, the two franchises still touch of the great mythos of heaven and hell. They do so in different ways, but it’s interesting how much similarity there is. In fact, it would be interesting if Diablo 4 took inspiration from the Darksiders games and used some of its shared source material in a similar approach. Of course, this shouldn’t be in a “copied homework but different way,” yet with Diablo 4 tackling the mother of Nephalem Lilith, it’s prime time that the game expanded on its lore of Nephalem....

Unleashing an elder being on your friends isn’t the nicest thing to do, but board games tend to bring out that kind of betrayal. Especially one like King of Tokyo. The game, and its King of New York counterpart, let players wreak havoc with kaiju, robots, and the like. Cthulhu is also in the mix, and publisher IELLO wants to remind us of that as Halloween approaches. The extended trailer for SadSquare Studio’s Visage releases today on YouTube, a game inspired by the ill-fated P.T. that captures a similar tense, eerie vibe. The trailer, which clocks in at just over 12 minutes long, is equal parts gameplay demonstration and creepy prelude to Visage’s story. SadSquare describes Visage as being inspired by P.T., Silent Hill, and other psychological horror classics, but the studio maintains that Visage is its own game with its own unique story to tell....
