One day after announcing the return of family trees, The Sims 4 showed gamers their first look at the inaugural expansion pack for the core game. Called Get To Work, the expansion pack will let players continue following their sims during work hours for select jobs. Previously, Sims at work virtually disappear from the game entirely, leaving solid 8 hours in-game of nothing in a 24 hour day. With the new content, players will get to go with their sims as they attempt to do things like solve crimes, save lives and potentially even interact with aliens....

The second season of the popular Telltale adventure game The Wolf Among Us will no longer be released in 2018, according to an announcement from the studio. The delay stems from a “few fundamental changes” made within Telltale recently, likely a reference to the restructuring and layoffs that occurred in November 2017. The Wolf Among Us: Season 2 is now planned for release in 2019. Telltale plans to use this extra time not only to prepare and polish the second season of The Wolf Among Us but also to commit to something more than expected....

Headup indie video game studio has announced the Steam Early Access phase for Tinkertown, its 16 bit-style multiplayer sandbox RPG. The game is currently on special promotion with a 15% discount (to $14.44) until December 10. The main purpose of completing Twilight Princess’s Cave of Ordeals is to release fairies into all five fairy springs that are spread throughout Hyrule. This helps Link on his quests, and is especially helpful during the battle with Ganon. The trick to this is that high-end items are needed before this side quest can be complete, making its benefits only applicable for end-game adventures. It’s still worth it though, especially since the main reward is Fairy Tears....

Twitch streamer Forsen was just hit with the third ban of his long career on the platform, but it remains unclear which rule he violated. With recent trends, most people predict it to be another DMCA regulation crackdown after the recent surge of bans that hit similarly high-profile streamers. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) is the set of laws that Twitch and other streaming platforms must abide by, most often pertaining to music played on stream....

Twitch is possibly one of the most interesting content creation platforms available at the moment. One of the big reasons for this is the plethora of odd Twitch categories that streamers can produce content around, such as virtual chess and even IRL streaming content. Recently, one Twitch stream called “stopsigncam” has garnered an incredibly large viewer base after showing live footage of a random stop sign somewhere in Salem, Massachusetts. What’s interesting about this Twitch stream is that an overwhelming percentage of cars that drive through the intersection roll right through the stop sign without stopping in the slightest....

Bayonetta developer PlatinumGames has certainly been busy recently, as they have one more announcement to make. In addition to working on Bayonetta 3, the studio is working with Square Enix on Babylon’s Fall. There’s also next month’s Nintendo Switch remaster of The Wonderful 101. Finally, the studio announced Project G.G. in February. Simply put, PlatinumGames has been wowing players with its announcements, though some may feel there’s too much on the company’s plate now....
