Slated to release in 2021, The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos promises to add interesting new DLC to Obsidian Entertainment’s 2019 release The Outer Worlds. Electronic Arts and MAC Cosmetics have launched a limited edition x9 Palette branded as M·A·C Starring The Sims. This collaboration follows on from last year’s in game partnership that saw MAC’s Director of Makeup Artistry, Romero Jennings, design several new makeup looks that were added to The Sims 4 in a free update. The palette is called Solar Glow Times Nine Palette and comprises nude and neutral shades. While the original in-game MAC makeup did raise a few eyebrows, with one look in particular branded as “sperm eyeliner”, this new collaborative project has truly drawn ire from the community....

The apparent closure of video game developer Telltale Games has left many fans very unhappy. Perhaps, none more so than those involved with creating the games themselves, as yet another former Telltale Games employee has taken to Twitter to share their experience of the developing ordeal. The X-Files, for all its later imitators (Fringe, Supernatural) was a unique show. One aspect of that uniqueness was the way it blended mytharc episodes about alien abductions, alien invasions, and government conspiracies with Monster of the Week episodes about paranormal criminals. These usually had a pretty strong thread of horror running through them and dealt with some classic “horror” creatures – vampires, werewolves, and ghosts, among others. They also devoted a large number of episodes to serial killers with varying degrees of paranormal abilities, since Mulder and Scully were FBI agents and a murder spree was the most obvious reason to put them on a case....

It’s hard to imagine a world without Pokémon at this point. It’s been decades since Nintendo started financing the money well and the series shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. X and Y reinvigorated the already fresh franchise, and Sun and Moon did it again by straying from the traditional formula and shaking up the foundation. Respawn Entertainment has two members of staff working on Titanfall, whilst the rest of the team works on Apex Legends. As reported by MP1st, community coordinator Jason Garza talked about the current state of Titanfall in a video that pre-dates the recent “Save Titanfall” hacking attacks, but has since been recontextualised due to the hacks. In the video, Jason reveals that Respawn Entertainment has around two members of the team working on Titanfall, whilst the rest work on Apex Legends....
