Valheim has seemingly come out of nowhere as an instant hit on Steam. Not only is it fun to play for many, but Valheim may also be the next big thing on Twitch as well, as it is a joy to watch. Iron Gate AB’s Viking co-op title is a mix of many genres, and it has captured the mindshare of the gaming community since it launched on February 2. In fact, it recently has surpassed some big-name games in concurrent player count on Steam....

Iron Gate AB today released another update to the ever-popular Valheim, improving loading times through a complete rework of the terrain-modification system. The team said you can expect to see “faster and smoother” loading times, among plenty of other small fixes. Although Valheim quickly climbed the Steam charts, it’s technically still an Early Access title. That means there’s plenty of bugs to go around, although developer Iron Gate AB is doing everything it can to keep the early build more than playable....

VALORANT executive producer Anna Donlon has announced that the closed beta will not be patched again until its official launch. The good news is Donlon’s announcement tweet reassures that many of the issues players have noticed—including hit registration delays, disabled blood, and unstable FPS problems—have been fixed. The only issue is that players won’t be able to experience those fixes until after the game’s official launch, so folks who don’t intend to put the beta down until servers close will have to bear with the issues for a little longer....

WandaVision is off to a fine start over on Disney Plus, with the superhero sitcom finally bringing back the MCU for the beginning of its long-awaited phase four. While the show’s perplexing plot and setup won’t be sorted out until later episodes, a lot more is being said of how WandaVision came to be. Perhaps one of the most intriguing aspects of WandaVision is just exactly how and why Vision is alive considering he died tragically at the end of Avengers: Infinity War and even Paul Bettany himself believed he was out of the picture at times; there’s the apparent lack of action scenes and how Marvel’s usual flair; and there’s even questions surrounding what happened to Elizabeth Olsen marked Sokovian accent....

The next update for Warframe is well on its way, and Digital Extremes has released a 30 minute gameplay demo to show off everything that Heart of Deimos has to offer. This will be the latest update since Dead Protocol went live in June for PC, bringing a much appreciated slew of new areas and enemies to face off against with players’ favorite space ninjas. This latest demo comes as a part of TennoCon 2020, a sort of digital convention organized by Digital Extremes to show off the new content coming to Warframe this year to replace the usual live show hosted every year....

A couple of weeks before New Pokemon Snap launched I asked a couple of professional nature photographers - Iona Haines, the coordinator of conservation organisation Ape Alliance, and Jocelyn Anderson, a bird photographer - for their opinions on the trailers, and how the world of Pokemon adapted to photography. In a new trailer, art director Joel Emslie reveals the huge amount of visual customization options players will have for their pilot and titan once Titanfall 2 launches. Since wrapping up the second technical test a few weeks ago, developer Respawn Entertainment has been hard at work not only getting Titanfall 2 ready for its late October launch, but revealing more information off about the game.
