Tri-Heart Interactive was the recipient of the Epic Games MegaGrant for The Otterman Empire, which was developed for over three years with a significant amount of community feedback being used to make the game what it is....

The folks over at Sony have just released a PlayStation 5 teardown video which lays bare all the nooks and crannies hiding under their new console’s panels. Amongst all the bits and pieces is a powerful fan and even a dash of liquid metal, both of which are apparently going to help keep your new baby cool. They won’t do a great job at keeping you cool whilst you salivate your way through the video, though....

As Ambrose spent much of his run struggling with mankind’s capacity to lie, cheat, steal, and kill, the story allowed him to leave us while gazing into the bright blue sky, finally at peace with what he’d seen and done....

After spending much of episodes 1 and 2 with important characters such as Stu Redman (James Marsden), Frannie Goldsmith (Odessa Young), Harold Lauder (Owen Teague) and Larry Underwood (Jovan Adepo), the new miniseries version of Stephen King’s The Stand brings in or fills out the backgrounds of several more key personnel in episode 3, titled “Blank Pages.” This episode (written by Jill Killington and Owen King, son of Stephen) of the nine-part CBS All Access limited series introduces the characters of Nick Andros (Brazilian actor Henry Zaga from The New Mutants), Ray Brentner (Irene Bedard) and Tom Cullen (Brad William Henke), all of whom play a major role in King’s tale — and all of whom have received a fairly significant overhaul for the new adaptation....

The long windup of their attacks makes them unwieldy and tricky to use in almost every situation. These weapons split most of their animations into two hits, the second of which can be very difficult to land (as you’ll end up knocking back enemies before you get to finish your combo)....

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has two main DLCs, and Hearts of Stone is the shortest of the two. However, Hearts of Stone is still a very long expansion pack, and the player will need some tips if they want to brave the new questline that is offered in this DLC. The enemies and especially the boss fights in Hearts of Stone are much more difficult than in the base game, and as such, they require more planning and skill to defeat....

The Witcher 3 is a game like any other that requires the use of voice actors to give life to the animated characters. Those who voice the main characters have the hardest job as their talent is put to the test as they work to adjust their voice for a specific story. Modern-day point-and-click adventure games are thought of in the vein of Telltale Games, but genre veterans Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick — responsible for 1987’s Maniac Mansion and the Monkey Island series — are still active thanks to their 2017 game Thimbleweed Park. On Saturday Gilbert released a spin-off title called Delores: A Thimbleweed Park Mini-Adventure that serves as a “prototype” of a new adventure game engine. Starting from a Kickstarter that raised $626,250 in 2014, Thimbleweed Park is inspired by the developers’ old LucasArts 2D adventure games....

Cyberpunk 2077 is filled with references of all kinds, including a very well hidden Witcher easter egg. This time eagle-eyed Redditors share another amusing hint at the Harry Potter franchise. Of course, it has dark dystopian vibes on top of it, as you can expect from a Cyberpunk world. Lurking through the most remote areas of Night City, Redditor thesailorscout came across recognizable symbols on one of the city building’s wall....

To say that the Sony exclusive racing title DriveClub has had a rough road to launch would be to put it mildly. After an early debut alongside the PS4, the Evolution Studios-developed racer seemed poised to be one of the major showpieces for Sony’s (at the time) next-gen console. Then, news surrounding DriveClub dropped off, and the game was inevitably delayed outside of the PS4 launch window. Since that time a lot has also changed internally, with the DriveClub team losing its Game Director Col Rodgers, and speculation the game had been cancelled building every month....

TikTok is one of the most popular social media apps on the planet, and so it attracts all kinds of people. This includes athletes, actors, brands like PlayStation, and apparently even witches. TikTok’s witches range from older witches that have been practicing “witchcraft” for a long time, as well as “baby witches” who are new to the lifestyle. These baby witches have now claimed to have put a hex on the moon, causing a stir in the TikTok witchcraft community....

EA teases the full reveal of Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 in the coming months, hinting towards an announcement during June. Expect more story and swords than ever. It’s mid-April, which means that it’s prime season for pre-E3 teasers and general hype building. E3 may be two months away, but no publisher wants to wait until the last second and risk being overwhelmed by other projects. As it turns out, EA is at the head of the pack this year, and has today released a teaser for Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2....

Titans Season 2 Episode 5 “Deathstroke” manages to be both an entertaining but incredibly frustrating episode that still moves the main plot forward – even though Conner Kent is still nowhere to be found. First up, Dick is not being a great leader. As foolish as Jason was to go after Dr. Light, Dick deserves some blame for being secretive with Robin and the rest of Titans 2....

By and large one of the most iconic character archetypes within fighting games are Zoners. Zoners are characters that seek to fight opponents as far away from them as possible, employing the use of projectiles and long pokes rather than combos and close-range combat. While many newcomers may dismiss zoners are irritating to fight as they “do nothing but spam projectiles,” there are numerous nuances within the archetype and strategies that must be employed if a Zoner player seeks victory....

It has been a whirlwind launch for Bungie’s Destiny 2. Amidst reports of PlayStation users struggling with Destiny 2’s login system and the outrage over single-use cosmetic shaders, however, the net response has been a positive one - a brief glance at most users’ online friends can confirm the sheer scope of the online shooter’s reach in terms of playerbase. The sudden influx of screenshots, video, and player commentary has generated such a positive buzz that small hints about the direction of the game moving forward are being outright ignored....

There will be seven Xbox Series X consoles up for grabs for anyone who tunes into the next-gen console’s launch party this Monday. The next generation of console is almost upon us. Four days from now, Xbox will officially release the Series X and Series S worldwide. The PS5’s release will follow two days after that in certain parts of the world, and then be available to everyone else the following week....

Among Us fans are very defensive when people badmouth their game. It appears that Twitch streamer Shroud landed in some hot water with other gamers over a recent statement he made regarding the popular deduction game. While the comment about Among Us seems to have been made in good fun, it nevertheless led to almost an entire server shouting at the ex-professional gamer. The statement was made during a streaming session while the gamer was playing on the new Rust server....
