Riding on the back of the platform’s new Soundtrack service, Twitch has now fallen into the crosshairs of the music industry. The scolding letter details Twitch’s negligence towards obtaining the proper synch and mechanical licenses for its Soundtrack tool, as well as providing access to musicians’ work without permission. Australian Twitch streamer Luke “MrDeadMoth” Munday has pleaded guilty to assaulting his pregnant wife during a live Fortnite stream. The plea, according to The Sydney Morning Herald, happened Monday before magistrate Ian Cheetham in Picton Local Court. The assault, which occurred off-camera last December 10th, was a controversial moment for Twitch moderation, who only issued a 2 week ban for MrDeadMoth despite audibly assaulting his wife on stream and being arrested by police....
The critically acclaimed Hades seemed likely that it was coming to Xbox after a recent Twitch tweet went live about the upcoming ID@Xbox showcase on March 26. However, Glenn Gregory, senior marketing manager, has denied that the game will be shown during the event. The original tweet has been deleted. Riot Games revealed via Twitter that Valorant‘s next agent will be a healer named Skye. As Riot notes in that tweet, Skye is expected to join the Valorant roster on October 27.
