Who would have thought that The Sims series would be turning eighteen years old this year, as it only seems like yesterday that I was coming home from school to waste my nights away playing one of the greatest franchises of all time, The Sims. While it’s a feat of its own to still be such a successful franchise after 18 years of development, what is even more impressive though is the fact that the simple life simulator game has sold over 200 million copies worldwide since the game first launched in the year 2000....

The Witcher’s first season on Netflix performed exceptionally well and brought in a whole lot of people into the franchise. Not only did the latest video game in the franchise, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, receive an impressive sales and concurrent player boost, the books also started flying off of shelves and digital storefronts. It begs the question of what elements from the game might influence the second season of The Witcher....

There’s nothing that brings a story more to life than it’s characters. Sure it was fun to explore the worlds of Mordor in Lord of The Rings or Toussaint in the Witcher 3, but it wouldn’t have been the same gosh-darn-it if it wasn’t with Frodo Baggins and Geralt of Rivia. Serving as the second and final expansion for The Witcher 3, Blood and Wine came with a myriad of new content that felt more like another game than a simple add-on. Set in the all new region of Toussaint, the expansion featured over 30 hours of gameplay, 30 new weapons, 20 new monsters and over 90 new quests.
