The Witcher: Monster Slayer will be arriving for free worldwide on Android and iOS on July 21. The announcement comes from the official Monster Slayer Twitter account, who revealed the date via a brand new trailer for the game. The trailer shows a hill overlooking a city. The footage is on a timelapse and shows several key Witcher monsters, such as a Drowner, a Wraith and a Ghoul. Alongside the trailer, the Twitter account said, “Prepare your phones for the worldwide premiere of The Witcher: Monster Slayer — coming to iOS and Android for free on July 21st!...

At the Mortal Kombat 11 community reveal event, it was confirmed that Skarlet would be making her return to the franchise as part of the new game’s base roster, whereas she was previously a DLC character for Mortal Kombat 2011. However, it seems only some players will have access to all of Skarlet’s outfits, like the Kold War Skarlet skin, for instance. The Kold War Skarlet skin will be part of Mortal Kombat 11’s Collector’s Edition, but apparently only in Russia....

With today’s launch of the largest patch yet for Torchlight 3, a winter-themed update that introduces four new pets and a “merry variant” of the Retriever, players can venture into dungeons and fight monsters with festive good cheer....

Though Square Enix is best known for its iconic Final Fantasy series, there are a number of other RPG gems the studio has crafted as well. Twitch streamer TheDanDangler has been banned, and unbanned, yet again. TheDanDangler has built up a reputation for being a risqué streamer, toeing the line of Twitch’s community guidelines. There’s a grey area where explicit content creators from use Twitch to drive traffic to other sites, which TheDanDangler has struggled to occupy in 2022. Yet The DanDangler’s latest Twitch ban may be due to more complicated and worrisome reasons. TheDanDangler had only been banned a single time at the start of 2022....

There is a lot to do and see in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As with many open-world games, there are still several secrets that are hidden within the world, but one of them has been found through brute force—literally by hitting a pile of rocks—and it unlocks a new (deadly) weapon. It is generally expected that there are going to be bugs and glitches that come along with a game of this size....

It’s no stretch to say that Minecraft is one of the biggest names in modern gaming. Despite breaking onto the scene quietly with a paid alpha, it has since grown into a worldwide phenomenon. You’d be hard-pressed to find someone - gamer or not - who has yet to hear of the title, so for this reason it’s no surprise that fans would yearn for some venue and reason to gather together and bask in their collective love of the game....

Survival games are known for keeping fans of the genre invested in the game for long hours. Valheim is one of those games. Even though it is not fully released yet, the game already has a dedicated fanbase and many YouTube channels that are frequently uploading tips and tricks. Unfortunately, most of what one can do in the game is already revealed by now, and there are many players who are starting to feel that this is an unfinished game....

The buildings of Valheim are semi-safe once again, thanks to a new update for the game. Developer Iron Gate announced that the AI for the game’s enemies has been tweaked to reduce the amount of structural damage they do and to place more focus on attacking players. So, buildings have a better chance of surviving a run-in with a troll – but players, not so much. This new patch is the result of the previous update that made monsters focus more attention on buildings and structures....

Professional VALORANT tournaments will get their own private servers soon, says Riley Yurk, the game’s esports strategy manager, in the latest Ask VALORANT blog post. Yurk states that “Tournament Realms” are in the works for competitive matches. The blog post also addresses a way to check hours played, and transferring account regions without losing progress or purchased skins. The server question comes after a rocky patch 1.11 cause some disruption around the time of the First Strike qualifiers....

Vigor is a free-to-play online looter shooter developed by Bohemia Interactive, the team behind the long-running and continually supported DayZ. Currently, the game is only on Xbox One, but that is set to change. A few months ago it was revealed that Vigor was headed to the Nintendo Switch. But now, thanks to a trailer that dropped during Gamescom 2020, a release date is known for the Switch release. Not only that, but the game is headed to PlayStation consoles as well....

Even after his passing, a Marvel project without some sort of hat tip to Stan Lee just wouldn’t be right. The first season of WandaVision will come to an end this Friday when episode nine hits Disney Plus. The MCU’s first TV show has been jam-packed with Easter eggs, some of which many of us probably haven’t even picked up on. Something fans did pick up on during episode seven appeared to be an Easter egg, we just couldn’t be sure of it until now....

The Outer Worlds developer Obsidian Entertainment has offered plenty of details about the game’s combat this month. The studio has detailed the game’s version of Fallout’s VATS, teased no-kill playthroughs, and more. But Obsidian isn’t stopping there, having also revealed one very cool weapon that players will be able to use. In a new interview, Obsidian has confirmed that The Outer Worlds players will be able to get their virtual mitts on a shrink ray weapon....

The Elder Scrolls 6 is rumored to be set in Hammerfell, High Rock, and parts of the believed-lost western continent of Yokuda, where the people who settled in Hammerfell and became the Regards originated. Assuming the game doesn’t take another big leap forward in time, like the difference between The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Skyrim, this choice of setting has some big implications for the factions that will very likely be at play in the next Elder Scrolls game....

The PSP is coming back thanks to the support of a dedicated group of homebrew programmers. The Sony PlayStation Portable (or PSP for short) was a nifty little handheld console that arrived in 2005 and departed in 2014. Sony stopped supporting the PSP in 2016, and since then, the Japanese company has pretty much ceded the entire handheld market to Nintendo. Well, Nintendo and a bunch of PSP enthusiasts who have all hacked their handhelds in order to create their own custom games....

The Sims 4 is continually growing and as it does more and more new features are being added. In the base game alone, we now have pools, toddlers, terrain tools, and glass roofs; all of which were absent at launch. As the game continues to expand, there are a few features we’re yet to see, either in an update or in a DLC pack. One of those is bunk beds....

While technically a sequel to the David Ayer-helmed Suicide Squad movie released in 2016, next year’s follow-up is intended to be a pseudo-reboot of the franchise with James Gunn at the helm. To be sure, Margot Robbie is back again as Harley Quinn, and so are Viola Davis as Amanda Waller and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag for that matter, but judging by the new R-rated sizzle reel footage released at DC FanDome, this is going to be a completely different animal....
