After numerous delays and more than a few production problems, Sony has finally released the first trailer for Uncharted: the long-awaited film adaptation of the PlayStation franchise of the same name. Whether or not the Uncharted movie is able to break what can only be described as the “video game movie curse” remains to be seen. For what it’s worth, though, part of the reason why so many people wanted to see the Uncharted series make the leap to the big screen is that the games borrow so heavily from classic adventure movies such as The Jewel of the Nile, Lawrence of Arabia, and, naturally, the Indiana Jones films....

The official launch of VALORANT has brought players of Riot Games’ tactical shooter a new agent, a new map as well as a new game mode. Despite the game being met with poor reviews upon release, many players have praised the new game mode, Spike Rush, for being a quick and fun alternative to VALORANT’s sometimes demanding gameplay. Learning a whole new game may sound like a pain, but Riot designed Spike Rush to be incredibly simple and similar to the game’s main game mode....

Virtua Fighter was the first memorable 3D fighting game ever released, beating Tekken by a few months. The game was a technological marvel at the time of its 1993 release, which was essentially par for the course when it comes to the legendary SEGA-AM2 studio. Warframe is globally renowned for its high-octane action and ability to push hardware to its absolute limit. Checking a video game studio’s job listing is usually a good way to guess what it’s working on. In this case, a job listing at WB Games indicates that the studio is working on a free-to-play game that hasn’t been announced yet. A free-to-play game would mean that it will be a multiplayer experience, something that WB Games isn’t particularly well known for. Gotham Knights and Back 4 Blood might be some of the bigger multiplayer games that WB has worked on, but for the most part, you expect single-player games like Batman Arkham City and Shadow of Mordor from the studio....
