Eastasiasoft has announced that Sense – A Cyberpunk Ghost Story will be hitting the Nintendo Switch later this year. Sense is a 2.5D horror adventure set in Neo Hong Kong, 2083, that follows Mei-Lin Mak as she attempts to solve a gruesome century-old mystery. Naturally, ghosts are involved. Mei must dodge malicious ghosts while she explores the city’s abandoned Chong Sing Apartments, piecing together clues that illuminate the lives of the building’s 14 residents turned restless spirits....
The Tutelage of the Black Emperor is a story vault in Myths of the Eastern Realm, the second DLC pack from Immortals Feynx Rising, and you’ll find it after meeting Gon Gon on the second island. It’s mandatory to progress, but don’t worry too much about puzzles - this is first and foremost a combat vault. First off, you’ll need to glide across to the section with pillars and gusts of wind....

There’s a ton to see and do, meaning that you might lose track of some important spots and be stuck trying to find them again. Luckily, the in-game map is pretty good as far as video game maps go, but with so many symbols, it’s still hard to make note of the important spots sometimes....
The Witcher 3’s Hearts of Stone expansion is a short but turbulent ride, and it starts with quite a bang. After the Toad Prince encounter, which landed Geralt in the predicament he finds himself now, a handful of soldiers and an austere mage seem almost too easy. While you’d be right in believing the foreign soldiers don’t pose much of a threat, the Ofieri Mage is shockingly unassuming. The cutscene just before does a good job of giving the player the sense that their hands are tied, literally....
A leak has revealed that CD Projekt Red’s smashingly successful Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt has not yet finished with its Nintendo Switch release and that a “light” version of the game will be made available for the Switch sometime soon. According to Nintendo Life, the leak comes via a market listing from Media Markt, a German retailer that seems to have jumped the gun on putting up a store page for Witcher 3 Lite....
This week Niantic updated monster hit Pokémon GO with Remote Raids. Much like a normal raid that required participants to all be within spitting distance of each other, Remote Raids now encourage people anywhere to team-up against challenging and powerful Pokémon - no masks and social distancing required. Currently a trainer Level 32 or higher is required to initiate the invitation to a raid. Team GO Rocket calls in reinforcements! Ash Ketchum’s long-time rivals Jessie and James might be seen cruising around your app map in a Meowth-themed balloon....

In terms of public opinion, Ubisoft didn’t have a great 2014. Whilst many players liked Ubi’s creative IP Child of Light, made by developers who wanted a break from the publisher’s blockbuster franchises, the company’s big-name games didn’t go down so well. An unreleased Sega project from nearly 30 years ago has received a second chance. The Sega VR was first revealed in 1993, but never saw the light of day. The Video Game History Foundation set forth to make that VR project a reality through emulation, and the results are pretty interesting. Historians say that the Viking invasion happened around the year 1000, but it seems like they were off by over a millennium. The Viking invasion is actually happening right now over on Steam Early Access as Valheim surpasses four million in sales. Coffee Stain Publishing and developer Iron Gate Studio just made the announcement in a press release that very few indie studios get to make. Along with four million units sold before the game is even done, Valheim has climbed to number 57 on the list of highest-rated games on Steam thanks to over 80,000 positive reviews....
Riot Games is adding an early surrender feature to Valorant in the upcoming patch 1.02. The tactical shooter features round-based gameplay, with teams fighting to either plant a “spike” on a point or prevent the enemy team from doing so within the time limit. Currently, teams have no option to surrender the match before the thirteen required wins. Patch 1.02 will be the second patch Valorant receives since its official launch in early June....
WandaVision is a truly unique television show, especially considering how different it feels from most of the Marvel Cinematic Universe installments that have preceded it. The show has deftly handled the jump in style from decade to decade while slowly peeling back the layers of its central mystery. It has managed all of this while still managing to craft the origin story of a new hero as well as set up some of the pieces that are sure to be a central part of Marvel’s next phase....
Arguably the most ambitious update Digital Extremes have ever released, Warframe’s Empyrean update aimed to add proper space combat to the game. Players could construct and pilot Railjacks, complete with side guns and crew roles for squadmates to invest in. While its ambition is certainly noteworthy, many fans felt the update was too ambitious for its own good. Plagued with bugs and balance issues, most never gave the mode more than a short chance....
Released in March of 2020, Animal Crossing: New Horizons was a memorable release in a year most of us would prefer to forget. Offering a seemingly-endless amount of neighbors to meet, items to collect and craft, and critters to catch and display in the museum, New Horizons was the perfect distraction for many during some particularly trying times. That said, it was far from the first of its kind, and, though it introduced many to Nintendo’s cutesy life sim series, it was hardly Animal Crossing’s first outing....
The Xbox Games Showcase debuted earlier today, bringing a number of huge reveals along with it. Halo Infinite got a lengthy gameplay reveal - complete with its new, semi-open world focus - while State of Decay 3 got a surprise announcement, and a new Fable was revealed to unanimous praise. Of course, the broadcast was also a big moment for another Xbox-owned studio, with Obsidian revealing the first of its long-awaited story DLCs for The Outer Worlds....
Developer Obsidian recently announced that The Outer Worlds’ first DLC expansion, “Peril on Gorgon” would be arriving on the Nintendo Switch on February 10. The sci-fi adventure’s DLC previously released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in September, and now it’s time for handheld users to receive the same novelty. Obsidian spoke on behalf of The Board on Twitter, addressing “Nintendo Switch employees” who could expect new tasks to open on the Gorgon Asteroid tomorrow....
