This month celebrates the one year anniversary of the debut of The Outer Worlds. Animation Domination on FOX dropped “Everyone Is Horrid Except Me (And Possibly You),” the new music video by Quilloughby (with Lisa Simpson), which came out on The Snuff’s label, Total Despair Records. The lyrics are inspired sub-genre satire. “Everyday I try to smile, but can’t help but frown, Every day I draw my bath and pray I will drown,” Quilloughby (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch) sings, and heaven knows he’s miserable, now and forever....

Live-action adaptations of video games seem to have an inherent curse attached to them. Ruben Fleischer and Tom Holland’s Uncharted movie offers a glimmer of hope, however, and the recently announced Tetris movie sounds promising too. The upcoming production has found its home at Apple TV Plus. Hearing word of a Tetris movie ignites flashbacks to the dreadful 2015 Pixels feature; visions of gigantic, colored blocks attacking the city in B movie style leaves us apposed to the subject....

New reality series The Traitors involves getting a group of strangers to form judgmental cliques, gossip behind each other’s backs and make accusations of wrongdoing, so yes, it’s a bit ‘shooting fish in a barrel’. Earlier this month, the Trump administration indicated that it planned on banning the mega popular social media app TikTok. And then things escalated when the president said that he could ban TikTok as early as today. A TikTok ban still has yet to take place at the time of this writing, and while the Trump administration has put forward an explanation as to why it wants to ban the app (citing security concerns and the potential for the Chinese government to collect data on American citizens), another theory is gaining steam online....

In a forum post, Blizzard reveals that it has banned 20,000 South Korean Overwatch players for cheating in the game using DDoS attacks and illegal hacks like aimbots. Right from the start, Blizzard promised fans of Overwatch that it will take drastic action against those that cheat in the popular online multiplayer shooter by banning them from playing the game. While Overwatch hackers the world over have been banned, the country that seems to be the biggest offender is South Korea, where Blizzard has had to ban tens of thousands of players for cheating in the game....
