Just several months ago, inXile Entertainment launched its latest major game release, Wasteland 3. The CRPG was a highly anticipated sequel in the classic franchise, and was inXile’s biggest game release yet. But it seems inXile isn’t finished with 2020. The studio’s now confirmed that its virtual reality game, Frostpoint VR, is also on track to launch soon. Better yet, it’ll be releasing very soon. VR enthusiasts can pick up the multiplayer game on December 1....

After a bit of a delay, Ubisoft has finally brought the Online Mode to Watch Dogs: Legion on Xbox, PlayStation, and Stadia. Unfortunately, the Tactical Ops game mode won’t launch until March 23, and the news is even worse for PC players – which has seen the entire Online Mode delayed indefinitely. With the Ubisoft Forward event, many upcoming titles were showcased today. Fortunately, we were treated with a Watch Dogs: Legion gameplay trailer. The gameplay stood out, featuring a wide-open landscape, basically leaving the player to play as they so choose, while taking back London being the main objective of the game. The key takeaway is that any in-game character can be recruited and played as in this game. As shown in the trailer, the player takes control of a construction worker, utilizing his construction tools to take down enemies and hack into various systems....

According to rumors, Ubisoft has a few surprises to share at its annual E3 press conference. Unfortunately for the company, one of its bigger surprises leaked out a few days early as Watch Dogs Legion gameplay details arrived sooner than intended. While Ubisoft later confirmed the reports with its own tease, the floodgates have apparently opened with even more details arriving prior to the show. The latest leak involves the games box art from a Twitter user named dennisK_90....

WB Games Montreal is best known for its work on Batman: Arkham Origins, a prequel to Rocksteady’s Batman games that released to a relatively lukewarm critical reception back in 2013. WB Games Montreal has been working on a mysterious new game for at least a couple of years now, and it is now hiring a technical director to work on the project. In a post on Facebook, WB Games Montreal revealed that it is looking to hire a technical director to lead its team of programmers....

It is no secret that CD Projekt Red is currently preoccupied with the release of Cyberpunk 2077, which has been delayed several times and will finally see the light of day in November. However, the studio recently made a surprising announcement when it revealed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt would also be released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Xbox exclusive Bleeding Edge is, after less than a year, losing support. The 4v4 melee-centric PvP game from Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and DmC: Devil May Cry developer Ninja Theory launched in March 2020 to mixed reviews, with an average of 66 on Metacritic. “With the studio now focusing on our new projects (Senua’s Saga, Project Mara, and The Insight Project), we have decided that there will be no further content updates for Bleeding Edge,” Ninja Theory stated on Twitter....

Gina Carano was fired from The Mandalorian and any future Disney+ Star Wars projects that she was involved in earlier this week. Cyberpunk 2077 has been the subject of much controversy of late, primarily because of the fact that it reportedly bricks last-gen consoles. While it’s still available to purchase on Xbox, its Microsoft Store listing now includes a warning, too. In order to ensure productions aren’t shut down due to a COVID-19 outbreak, studios are imposing strict set regulations designed to protect cast and crew from contracting and spreading the virus. Unfortunately, two Mission: Impossible 7 crew members failed to comply with the production’s safety protocols and were consequently reprimanded by Tom Cruise. Production on the seventh Mission: Impossible was scheduled to begin in February 2020 with a three-week shoot in Venice, Italy, before moving to Rome....
