The Swamp biomes in Valheim are full of danger and hazardous conditions. They also have a low yield of resources, but several materials are still exclusively farmed in these boggy wastelands. Swamps appear as muddy, camouflage-like patches on your map, and they are filled with just that. Get ready to traverse mucky, boggy ground obscured by gigantic trees and tons of threats — most of which are toxic. Resources It is possible to harvest Thistle within Swamp biomes, though you’ll likely have a better time of it in the Black Forests....

In Riot Games’ free-to-play title Valorant, the word smurf no longer evokes fond memories of small blue humanoids who live in mushrooms. In the 5-v-5 tactical shooter, where ranked matches and teamwork form the core of the game, a smurf now has a much more negative connotation. Players across all levels of Valorant, in both ranked and unranked matches, have complained that smurfing negatively impacts the game for everybody else. And Riot Games has recently released a blog post entitled “Ask Valorant” in order to address this growing problem....

VALORANT has been an unmitigated success so far despite only being in the closed-beta. Riot Games’ newest tactical FPS game carves out its own section of the genre with agents and their unique abilities, setting itself apart in the process. Despite all its success, there are still a lot of things VALORANT can improve on once it’s fully launched this summer. One of those improvements should be the implementation of a deathmatch game mode....

Warning: contains major spoilers for War of the Worlds season one. The first thing to remember about Howard Overman’s moodily atmospheric War of the Worlds is that if novelist H.G. Wells were here today (and had the required TV streaming package), he probably wouldn’t recognise it as his story. Aside from an alien invasion that wipes out much of Earth’s population, the TV drama had little crossover with Wells’ novel. Instead of tripods with heat rays, it had cyborg dogs with machine gun heads....

In a huge shake-up to the Warzone meta, the AUG was added to Modern Warfare’s Battle Royale in December 2020. It was one of many Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War guns added to the Battle Royale mode when Cold War Season 1 started just after launch. Not to be confused with the SMG of the same name, the Cold War Tac Rifle fires in a 3-round burst. It can often kill in 6-7 shots if you use the right attachments....

Call of Duty: Warzone saw a new Season 5 trailer released yesterday in preparation for the update officially dropping tomorrow on August 5. It displayed some of the new Warzone map changes that Infinity Ward has been teasing for a while now, such as the opening of the stadium and the addition of loot trains. However, a closer look at the Warzone Season 5 trailer reveals more beneath the surface. As it stands now, the Warzone player limit goes up to four-person squads, but one eagle-eyed fan noticed that the trailer might confirm that Season 5 will introduce five-person squads to Warzone’s playlists, allowing players to bring one additional buddy along for the carnage....

In 2016, Ubisoft released cyber sleuthing action-adventure game Watch Dogs 2 on PC and consoles. Although sales of the game appeared to be lower than that of its predecessor (at retail, at least), many fans were eager to play a sequel. After games in Chicago and San Francisco, people wanted to know where the Watch Dog series would go next. According to trademarks, fans of the open-world series may not have long until they get to see Watch Dogs 3 in action....

Comedian/TV host and College Humor alumni Adam Conover has revealed some information regarding the long-rumored live-action Legend of Zelda adaptation. In an interview with The Serf Times, Conover revealed that at one point Netflix was in early development on a live-action Legend of Zelda series, and that it was canceled due to leaks. Around the 39 minute mark of the interview Conover says that during his time at College Humor in around 2014, he was working on a clay animation Star Fox adaptation with Nintendo, which was also backed by the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto himself....

An overhaul of Anthem, Dragon Age 4, and Mass Effect 5 all appear to be on BioWare’s plate, meaning many fans of the developer are optimistic for its future. That said, it’s likely a careful optimism as BioWare has seen many highs and lows during its time, with the lows being much more recent. Anthem, for example, is the second-to-lowest reviewed BioWare game ever made, with Mass Effect Andromeda appearing just two ranks above it....

Ahead of the official launch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s forthcoming Blood & Wine DLC, the developers at CD Projekt Red release a massive patch in preparation. Although The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Blood & Wine DLC isn’t scheduled for release until next Tuesday on May 31, the fine folks over at CD Projekt Red have decided to get fans’ hard drives ready for what is going to be a pretty big download, as the studio will release Patch 1....

Netflix previously told us that The Witcher Season 2 would be arriving in the second half of 2021, but they didn’t say when. Now it seems like that might be the first half of the second half of 2021 because Netflix’s Twitter account just gave us an interesting new teaser. Geralt and Ciri are back to back in this poster, which is unsurprising given the two finally met at the end of Season 1....

Grand Theft Auto V is a masterpiece of a game. It comes with more than plenty of action, more than enough character development, and a living open world that can blow you away. The game was crafted with so much attention to detail that it really feels like you are wreaking havoc in the actual California. However, no one is perfect. As much as we hate to admit it, this applies to Rockstar as well....

As readers of our lengthy preview of the Titanfall beta know, we quite enjoyed our time with Respawn Entertainment’s freshman effort, and can’t wait to spend even more time with it this weekend. Every once in a while, a game comes along that blows away the competition with groundbreaking features and technical wonders that separate it from every other game in its genre. Trover Saves The Universe doesn’t necessarily do anything like that, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a better platformer to have been recently released. Although the game comes directly from the mind of Rick and Morty co-creator, Justin Roiland, and Squanch Games, you don’t need to be a fan of the show to enjoy Trover Saves The Universe for what it is....
