Around this time in March, theaters were expecting the October to be a big comeback month for the theater industry. Between films like Mulan, Tenet, and No Time to Die, hopes were high that cinemas across the country could reopen safely and have a big boom period to make up for all the lost revenue due to coronavirus restrictions. Things haven’t quite worked out that way though, with Mulan going to streaming, and Tenet failing to reinvigorate the box office....

Triumph Gaming announced the addition of Doug ‘Censor’ Martin, New York Subliners substitute player, as a new addition to their Call of Duty Challengers roster. It looks like yet another publisher has tossed their name into the pool of companies that are introducing an online pass for their upcoming titles. Ubisoft, publisher/developer behind such titles as Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell, have announced they will be introducing a new feature to their UPlay service called the ‘Passport’ that will essentially allow players to access online content. Though Ubisoft has yet to comment on a price for UPlay Passport they did announce that it will be first implemented with Driver: San Francisco....

Naughty Dog details the first major content update for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, known as the Lost Treasures pack, and reveals big changes coming today for multiplayer. After multiple delays which ultimately pushed the launch of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End into May of this year, the game has proven to be a massive success story for both Sony and Naughty Dog. The game has not only outsold all others in the month of May, but it has already exceeded sales projections set by the last major Uncharted title....

One Reddit user found out that protocol droids aren’t always just for diplomatic relations between disparate species. Sometimes they glitch out and go on a blaster-fueled rampage. Nobody really thinks much of protocol droids. Sure, there’s C-3PO, but even in the classic trilogy, he was always treated as the comedic foil to the adventurous rebels he was accompanying. VALORANT game director Joe Ziegler has teased the next couple maps to enter the game’s competitive rotation. In a conversation with professional VALORANT player Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas, Ziegler stated that the game’s development team is trying to “accelerate” the release of the next few maps. Now standing at five maps available for competitive play, the team wants to reach seven to widen the game’s strategic field. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier premiered yesterday, and much like Disney+ predecessor WandaVision, everyone seems to be talking about it. That applies to cats, in particular, especially when it comes to seeing Skyrim’s own cat-like Khajit on screen, which just so happened to have led to some tension between a cat and the game.
