Looking to help support its top creative users, TikTok has created the $200 million TikTok Creator Fund. This fund will help support “ambitious creators” who are interested in opportunities that will help sustain a livelihood through their “innovative content.” Until the Creator Fund, TikTok creators were only able to earn money from their content through third-party partnerships and deals they had to broker themselves. An official statement from the company explained how its TikTok Creator Fund will allow creators to earn additional earnings that will reward the care and dedication they put into “creatively connecting” with their audience....

At one point in time, Bumblebee was just another Transformer among hundreds in the extended cast of the Transformers universe. The closed beta for Riot Games’ upcoming online multiplayer shooter Valorant is live and is already extremely popular. In the past several days, Valorant’s Twitch viewership has climbed to around 1.6 million. That’s a record claimed only by two other games, Fortnite and League of Legends. Capitalizing on the audience, Riot is already revealing upcoming new content for Valorant in the form of new agent Raze. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will probably not release in the first half of 2021 according to the Paradox Interactive CEO Ebba Ljungerud. The announcement arrives after a troublesome year for developer Hardsuit Labs that saw Bloodlines 2 delayed twice. The game was originally due to arrive in the first quarter of 2020, but a delay was announced in October 2019. At the time, Hardsuit Labs said it needed more time to polish and stabilize the action-RPG title, which was pushed back from its first quarter release to sometime later in 2020....

The opening credits of HBO’s Emmy-winning The White Lotus are immediately memorable: lush and colorful wallpaper-like depictions of monkeys, birds, fruit, and other tropical images that immediately convey a sense of decadence, set to a soundtrack of animal sounds, discordant flutes, and steadily escalating percussion.
