Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman 1984 debuted on December 25 to enthusiastic praise from some and heavy criticism from others. Nonetheless, the studio has officially submitted the DC Films sequel for awards consideration at the 2020 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Gal Gadot. After delaying the theatrical release of Wonder Woman 1984 on multiple occasions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Warner Bros. ultimately decided to release the long-awaited DC film on HBO Max day-and-date with theaters in the United States....

There’s little debate that Sunset Overdrive is a bizarre venture for Insomniac Games and Microsoft. The game’s unique style and gameplay mechanics are enough to standout as something unique for the Xbox One. While the title has locked down an interesting aesthetic, there’s a lot more to making an enjoyable game than goofy weapons or funny respawn mechanics. Admittedly, it’s hard to predict how much monotony awaits players in the full title, but after spending an hour in Sunset Overdrive’s main campaign, it appears that Insominiac Games has been able to create a frantic, fluid and fun exclusive on the Xbox One....

Netflix comedy drama Sex Education initially attracted many viewers because it was a Thing With Gillian Anderson In, but while she’s indeed a big part of what makes the show brilliant, it’s the rest of the (initially relatively unknown) cast that has really propelled the show to its stratospheric success. The Sims 4: Snowy Escape has introduced a new Lifestyle feature, which enables your Sims to gain different social interactions and responses, based on their personality. The system meshes well with the new Sentiments feature but is exclusive to the Snowy Escape expansion. Lifestyles are much more noticeable than many other traits since the buffs and debuffs associated with them are very strong. There are 16 Lifestyles in total and a Sim can have a maximum of three different Lifestyles at once....

Let’s start by getting one thing straight, Kill La Kill is a great anime, maybe even one of the best. It has a fantastic style, incredible animation, a bonkers plot, and a sense of humor that can knock even the most stone faced sad-sack into fits of hysterics. So know that this criticism comes not as a teardown or smug posturing, but from a sincere place of affection for a medium and show held in high regard: Kill La Kill is a very hypocritical show....

The past decade has been full of trouble for the Tony Hawk franchise, with the mostly-dormant series popping up in 2015 for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, which was widely criticized as a mess. Luckily, there’s the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 remaster to look forward to this year, and if the demo is anything to go by, it’s the game fans have been waiting for. The next installment in the Transformers film franchise is scheduled for release in 2022, aptly titled Rise of the Beasts. Headed by Creed II director Steven Caple Jr. and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, this new take will focus on the 1990s classic cartoon Beast Wars and will star Dominique Fishback and Anthony Ramos. Rise of the Beasts will take place during the 1990s and will be relatively separate from the previous series of movies....

There has to be some confusion in a TV drama, a procession of things not-yet-understood. That’s the deal: accept temporary bafflement in the expectation that at some point, all will be revealed. Even a year after release, Naughty Dog continues to update and make improvements to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. In sticking with the established post-launch schedule, the multiplayer portion of the experience has already received a ton of new content including new maps, modes, and a wealth of cosmetic items. With this most recent patch, a major issue surrounding the latest competitive season is finally getting addressed. While season 5 of Uncharted 4 multiplayer kicked off on April 3, an issue prevented some player progress from the previous season from resetting....

When Borderlands fans tuned in to the Borderlands 3 gameplay reveal, many expected Gearbox to release some new Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition shift codes to celebrate. Unfortunately, no new Borderlands remastered shift codes were released during the Borderlands 3 gameplay reveal event, but now Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford has taken to Twitter to release a new code. Like past Borderlands shift codes, this new shift code works for all versions of the game across PC, PS4, and Xbox One....

The Valorant closed beta released with, and currently still has, ten different characters (or Agents) to choose from.
