An article published in the Journal of Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders in April of this year has revealed some interesting results, suggesting that virtual reality could help in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). OCD affects approximately 1 in 40 adults in the United States, and interestingly, worldwide it is one of the top 20 causes of illness-related disability in people between the ages of 15 and 44 years.
