For hours at a time, I can leave my life on the sofa behind and become a dragon-slaying adventurer, the sole survivor of a shipwreck, a soldier on an alien planet, an engineer stuck in space, or even the wind. There are so many fantastic and wonderful things video games let me be, but the main appeal of them right now is letting me be a homeowner....

While the show once again managed to make the most of its uncanny sitcom stylings to elicit some wonderfully tense moments, episode 3 provided more instances that felt in tune with the MCU for hardcore fans to latch onto. While this episode gave fans a brand new sitcom style more in line with the shows of the mid to late 60s, it also delivered some powerful moments that further hinted at the sinister nature of the reality the show’s central couple is living in....

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will see the return of Claire Redfield as the main protagonist, as she is abducted along with Barry Burton’s daughter, Moira Burton, and taken to an abandoned island detention facility that’s ridden with the undead....
There’s an indie game on Steam that costs $200 for a 71mb download - that’s $2.80 per megabyte. I downloaded and played it to completion in the space of five minutes. I’ve never hated myself more than I do right now. Super Fight is a side scrolling beat ‘em up for people who love Streets of Rage and despise having money. It’s cobbled together entirely from pre-made Unity assets that you can buy for around half the price of Super Fight itself....

The Rocketeer celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this summer. The 1991 film starred Bill Campbell as Cliff Secord, a young stunt pilot who ends up in possession of an experimental jetpack and ends up embroiled in a crossfire between Nazi spies (led by Timothy Dalton), and the mafia (led by Paul Sorvino). It’s a terrific, charming action-adventure film, effectively paying homage to the movie serials of the 1930s and other Hollywood flicks of the era, all set to one of James Horner’s very best scores....

The long-awaited Darksiders 3 launch has not gone according to plans for THQ Nordic and now the company is responding to reviews of the game that has been, at best, mixed. The return to the series for the first time in six years has garnered an overall Metacritic score of 72 for the PC version and a low of 66 for the PS4 version. When Bethesda confirmed that Fallout 76 will have multiplayer gameplay, many fans of the franchise were surprised.
