We’d understand if Spiritomb isn’t exactly your favorite Ghost/Dark-type Pokemon. Essentially just a spirit affixed to a rock (actually 108 spirits trapped in the “odd keystone,” whatever that is), Spiritomb is mostly helpless. It has virtually no HP and is basically immobile since it’s attached to a boulder. Recently, a Call of Duty: Warzone player died in-game in what is perhaps the most unlucky and humorous way possible. There have been embarrassing deaths in video games, and then there’s Reddit user MIXER-ONSIDEDAFF who was unfortunate enough to die in Warzone in what is maybe the silliest and craziest way ever: crushed by their own load out. The player posted on Reddit about their unfortunate demise in-game, with the post’s title simply saying “Of all the ways I could’ve died… Literally 1 in a 1,000,000,” accompanied by the hilarious video of their death....

The US Army’s official esports Twitch channel has started banning users who make references to war crimes in the channel’s chat. In response, an influx of Twitter users have flooded the chat with the intention of being deliberately banned, forcing the channel to enter follower-only mode. This latest round of controversy comes days after Twitter users flocked to the US Army’s official esports Discord channel and attempted banning speed runs in the wake of a viral tweet....

Perhaps the initial hype for Valorant has died down from earlier this year, but Riot Games’ team-oriented shooter is still a big success in 2020. However, not everything has gone smoothly for the first-person shooter, as the most recent update has been a “technical nightmare” for the developer. And now, Riot Games has revealed that it will be rolling back the 1.11 update for Valorant for now. A few hours ago it was announced from the official Valorant Twitter that the newest update is being rolled back in North America, Brazil, and LATAM....

A new fighting game tournament has been revealed by WePlay Esports. The new competition will consist of three back-to-back tournaments, going over some of the fighting game world’s most popular titles.
