It would seem that Twitch has recently added to its list of banned creators by deciding to suspend Happy Hob, one of the more prolific streamers on the platform. So far the reasoning is unclear, but the streamer known for no-hit Dark Souls challenges will not be able to use the streaming service for some time. The 2021 Six Invitational, Rainbow Six Siege’s biggest competitive event of the year, will take place on LAN, developers Ubisoft confirmed today. Rainbow Six, and all other esports, have been prohibited from hosting offline events for most of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Six Invitational will go on in February of next year with no live audience. Rainbow Six teams have mainly been required to compete online since COVID-19 quarantine measures went into effect earlier this year....
While Ubisoft has announced that it has four triple-A titles releasing in the next fiscal year, only two games are currently known: The Crew 2 and Skull & Bones. Alongside the aforementioned titles, two more games are scheduled to release before April 2019, and while they remain unknown, recent game releases, events, and suggestions from Ubisoft give way to speculation – one way or the other. First off, Ubisoft has hinted that Assassin’s Creed: Origins will have extensive post-launch content, so a new Assassin’s Creed doesn’t seem likely (although with the China/Japan rumors and Ragnarok concept, some fans may cling to the small chance that it could be one of the unknown titles....
Ubisoft releases a new video for the promotion of its forthcoming action-adventure title, Far Cry Primal, that features a PlayStation 4 made of stone. With Far Cry Primal launching in less than a week from now, Ubisoft decided to commission the professional mason Nick Robertson to craft an entire gaming den out of stone in order to celebrate the title’s release. Interestingly enough, though, the developer chose to have the set piece exclude two of the platforms on which Far Cry Primal will be available, by only having the artist create a PlayStation 4 and a couple of Dualshock 4 controllers to rest atop a slab tabletop near a rock-chiseled flat-screen TV....

An expensive new skin bundle has arrived in VALORANT that allows players weapons to be morphed into fire-breathing dragons. Riot Games revealed the new Elderflame skin set that will swoop into stores July 10th for a hefty price. Debuting the Skin Reveal trailer yesterday on the VALORANT YouTube channel, Riot Games encouraged players to “awaken the fire within” as the devs got VALORANT players hyped for the new skin bundle. The 53 second trailer featured floating embers surrounding the mouth of a growling dragon’s head as the music swelled with its movements....
