This week in Destiny 2, the Guardian Games wrap up with Titans in a commanding lead. Hunters had the lead for the first day of Destiny 2’s Guardian Games, but after that it’s been all Titans. Gearbox Publishing and developer Norsfell Games have released a new trailer featuring a gameplay overview of co-op survival action-RPG Tribes of Midgard. The Norse mythology game will arrive in 2021 for PS5 and PC via Steam. It’s become apparent after reports from numerous Twitch streamers that emotes relating to the word “simp” are being taken down, with the company classifying them as harassment. Twitch further elaborates that the word “simp” is disallowed content, as it constitutes as an insult, bullying or threatening. For the most part, streamers and viewers alike are simply confused as to why this would be a priority, but some are pretty peeved that the emotes are being taken down at all....

The next project from the Ubisoft team behind Grow Home and Grow Up has been announced. It’s another small-scale project, but hugely different from what Ubisoft Reflections has created prior. Introducing Atomega, an online multiplayer FPS where players start as a single laser firing block. As players destroy their opponents, they consume their blocks and grow larger. Eventually, players grow into a gargantuan, nigh unstoppable block-cyclops. Sustaining this Omega form is the key to victory....
Chalk up yet another gamer headache to the growing proclivity of DRM in PC games. Ubisoft, perhaps the biggest proponent of DRM, promised that when transitioning their game servers players of a select few of their more popular titles would be unaffected by the switch – yet reports are coming in of problems. Valheim players that are wandering the Black Forest biome will occasionally come across small caves called Burial Chambers. These caves are filled with dangers, but also loads of valuable items worth the risk. One of these items is the Yellow Mushroom. Yellow mushrooms are glow-in-the-dark mushrooms that can be found in caves and crypts. They only seem to spawn in Valheim’s Sunken Crypts in the Swamps, Black Forest’s Burial Chambers, and Troll Caves....
