Console owner fans of Creative Assembly’s Total War franchise should rejoice, as their lead battle designer, Jim Whitson, is “looking forward” to the day the series makes its way onto consoles. The Total War games have long been exclusive to PC - apart from mobile ports of Rome: Total War - and blend turn-based strategy with real-time tactics. The game franchise has depicted many eras of combat, from Rome to feudal Japan, and even the Games Workshop’s fictional Warhammer universe....

As if Fortnite weren’t already one of the most talked-about games on the market, Epic Games has teamed up with Marvel to put out an Infinity Gauntlet mode mashing up the worlds of the sandbox survival title and Avengers: Infinity War. Now, the developers behind the Battle Royale sensation have released a brief, albeit thrilling new trailer to promote the Limited Time Mode that shows off Thanos in action. As seen below in Fortnite’s Infinity Gauntlet mode trailer, players of the sandbox survival title can get a sense of what it’s like to wield the iconic glove from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as a lone soldier grabs and equips the item, turning him into Thanos....

Since first launching in April of this year, Dead by Daylight Mobile has been steadily adding much of the content available in the PC and console versions, and the Cursed Legacy Chapter is next up. The update will bring both the Killer Kazan Yamaoka, better known as The Oni, and the Survivor Yui Kimura into the Fog. One key difference to note however is that although this is called the Cursed Legacy Chapter, there are a different set of maps releasing on Dead by Daylight Mobile....

The Sims 4’s first pack debut of 2021, titled Paranormal, is a stuff pack that blows other previous stuff packs out of the water. EA has a reputation for releasing tons of DLC for base games, and The Sims 4 was another game that experienced this pattern. The Sims 4 currently has 10 expansion packs, nine game packs, and 18 stuff packs, which is a whole lot of DLC. While these packs have sometimes added incredible new gameplay and locations to the game, others have not gone over as well, with many players feeling like they weren’t getting their money’s worth....

The first teaser for CBS’s new adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand has arrived. The 30-second teaser is a very small slice of footage but there are two pretty big reveals in it: our first looks at Whoopi Goldberg’s post-apocalyptic prophet Mother Abagail and Alexander Skarsgard’s Randall Flag, the Walking Dude himself. Some incredibly talented artists out there have recreated some of Minecraft’s iconic characters - known as mobs - in various realistic styles, and the results are superb. Uploaded yesterday to the YouTube channel “Miners Elysium,” the following video showcases a wide range of re-imaginings of familiar Minecraft mobs. Not all of them were actually originally created as depictions of Minecraft creatures though (one is taken directly from Magic: The Gathering’s Skeleton Archer, for example), but the ones that were are pretty trippy....

Tim Burton is one of Hollywood’s most unique voices still in the business, having crafted a very specific aesthetic that is both highly sought after and entirely his own. Now he’s planning to tackle some new material that seems right up his alley: a live-action TV reboot of The Addams Family that Burton hopes to produce and possibly even direct. It would mark the director’s first ever major foray into live-action television, and it’s a project that has a lot of potential....

Ubisoft has just revealed Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and it’s a game that will mark plenty of franchise-firsts for Ubisoft’s tactical shooter: it will have dialogue choices, raids, new survival elements, and even multiple endings.
