The UK is presently reeling from a massive surge in new COVID-19 cases, which has many entertainment-industry analysts and professionals worried that the government will impose a second major lockdown. For now, however, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has adopted a softer set of restrictions that will allow film and TV production to continue, while having a mild impact on the UK’s reeling theater business. The new measures include a 10 PM curfew for theaters, as well as bars and restaurants....

UK price comparison website Compare the Market recently performed a study which revealed the top 10 video games which are quite literally the most heart-pounding, and the number one game may surprise you a little. CTM asked a group of 10 people to play 15 games over two weeks. The volunteers had their average BPM (Beats Per Minute) on a regular day measured, as well as their average BPM when playing each game....

He started out as the hero of a series of cult-classic fantasy novels before transitioning into one of the most popular video game protagonists of all time. Supermassive Games, the developer of the 2015 survival-horror game Until Dawn, has recently filed a trademark for a title called Shattered State. The filing of the trademark was done by Supermassive itself, which would suggest that Sony will not be publishing this upcoming title. If Supermassive Games owns Shattered State by itself, this could mean that the upcoming title can be launched on any platform, which the developer wanted to do for quite some time now, when they expressed interest in releasing games on multiple platforms....

These days, it feels like just about everything involves some type of subscription service, including games. Plenty of major game companies have jumped on board with their own monthly services that allow users to access their games, and now, so has Ubisoft. Ubisoft announced their own subscription service, deemed Uplay Plus, earlier today at their E3 press conference. The service is only available on PC at launch but will be making its way to Google Stadia in 2020....
