Square Enix’s March 18 event started early for Tomb Raider fans, it seems. Ahead of the planned broadcast, one of the apparent announcements of the event was discovered to be already available. Today, Snoozy Kazoo announced the release date of its newest title, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. This may seem like an April Fool’s joke, but the game really does come out on April 22 on both the Nintendo Switch and Steam. Snoozy Kazoo is a small and relatively new video game developer. Currently, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is its only game. Everything from the developer name to the title of the game sounds like a prank, but that’s not the case....

Say it ain’t so! Twitch has announced it will be closing its karaoke service Twitch Sings on January 1, 2021. They have opted to invest in the music community on Twitch with “broader tools and services” instead. The content sharing website said, “This community has inspired us with their talent and passion, and we thank you all for what you’ve given to Twitch Sings over the years.” As Twitch Sings connects online for it to be played, it will no longer be functional to play after January 1, 2021....

After claiming she has girl-wood for games, Ubisoft’s E3 2012 press conference host Aisha Tyler appears to have the balls to match. Responding to allegations that she was not a “true gamer” and had no place hosting this year’s E3 Ubisoft Press Conference, Aisha threw down, calling out her critics in a post on Facebook. Ubisoft has been known for its surprise guest hosts, including Joel McHale, the overzealous Mr. Caffeine (from E3 2011) and this year’s Aisha Tyler....

According to its lead multiplayer designer, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End uses peer-to-peer hosts, rather than a dedicated server, to support its online multiplayer mode. It’s no secret that the main attraction of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is going to be the game’s epic single-player campaign mode. Player’s are desperate to find out if Drake survives the upcoming installment in the action adventure franchise and the first few days after launch will likely be spent working through them....

Horror movies have been struggling to come to terms with the internet for a while now. The familiar scene where a character heads to the library to check out a book on the supernatural and find a way to ward off the ghost in their home is slowly being replaced by a scene where a character fires up an off-brand search engine to look up that all-important ritual. But characters in movies rarely spend as much time on the internet as we do, because it’s not particularly thrilling to watch someone sitting at a keyboard....

2015 hasn’t exactly given gaming fans the heavy dose of horror that they’ve been craving. So far, the only remotely frightening releases have been Techland’s zombie-driven title Dying Light, Capcom’s Resident Evil: Revelations 2, and the third installment in the indie creep-fest series known as Five Nights at Freddy’s. And although many are excited about the forthcoming remake to Resident Evil 2, it won’t be available until some time next year at the very least....

Building a home is less about protection from monsters and weather and more so a mandatory feat for crafting most things. Your bed must have a roof, and so must a crafting workbench. If you’ve missed the news, Riot Games accidentally released the patch notes for the upcoming update 2.06 for Valorant yesterday. The patch notes dive deep into the nerfs coming to Bucky shotgun, and some other ability buffs to Yoru and Viper. Let’s talk about Viper’s changes first. With patch 2.06, Riot Games has increased the pickup distance for Viper’s Poison Cloud from 200 to 400. Toxic Screen has also been buffed....

When Valorant launched last year, it quickly turned out to be one of the best FPS games of 2020 for many gamers. With regular new characters to play, detailed new weapon skins to buy and earn, the game keeps players hooked. Another way Valorant gets players to stay engaged with the game is through limited-time events and modes, and the game has added a new one with Patch 2.03. Riot Games developed Valorant to be a tactical team-based shooter, but it doesn’t stop them from finding ways to make the game unique....

What may be one of the most anticipated unannounced games of all time is without a doubt Half-Life 3. Working with Activision since its 1998 Game Boy Color port of Vigilante 8, Vicarious Visions played a pivotal role in porting and developing several of Activision’s flagship titles to handheld and previous generation consoles. Their partnership led to Activision purchasing the company in 2005.
