The official THQ Nordic Twitter account announced the 8chan AMA early Tuesday morning and was met with an immediate pushback. Its followers referred to the site’s history of hosting bigoted and abusive content under the guise of “free-speech-friendly” values but THQ Nordic moved forward with the AMA without regard....

The publisher has unveiled a new demo explaining the mission design of Assassin’s Creed: Unity, the upcoming PC, Xbox One and PS4 title, alongside revealing that the story is about love as much as it is about the French Revolution. Meanwhile, Ubisoft has been releasing just as much news about their other soon-to-be-released Assassin’s Creed title, Assassin’s Creed Rogue....

Ubisoft is in the midst of some major network problems, with no clear sign of a solution in sight. The company is experiencing issues that are causing outages across its Uplay platform, its websites, its games — just about everything the studio offers that features some kind of online component. At the moment, it’s difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of these network problems. Some of Ubisoft’s sites and services are referring to it as service degradation, while others are stating that the outages are simply part of maintenance procedures....

Simulators are a genre of video games that simulate certain experiences, like flying a plane or running a theme park, but there’s now a simulator that re-creates the experience of a certain video game. The game in question is Undertale, and the specific experience is the Sans boss battle, a fight that joins the ranks of Mega Man boss fights in being notoriously difficult. In order to fight Sans in the actual Undertale game, players need to embark on a genocide run; a difficult task that involves killing every monster in every region as well as killing every prior boss and mini-boss....

Developer House House has revealed that the second goose will be getting a legendary new honk. If you haven’t played it, Untitled Goose Game is a title that punches well above its weight class. The world of Valheim is made up of a wide variation of biomes for Vikings to explore and tempt fate by testing their survival skills. These range from relatively docile fields and hillocks to toxic mires and mountain peaks subjected to extreme conditions where only the most steadfast Vikings dare travel. It’s possible that a passive adventure through the fields could lead you unwittingly into the maws of a much more treacherous landscape....

Valheim, the massively popular survival Viking-themed game, is still in Early Access. Everything in the game is subject to change, and players are encouraged to contact the devs with ideas for changes and updates. Good video game songs tend to stick with us. While appreciating these songs as they were originally created is all well and good, cover songs often show a new interpretation of something familiar, shifting the genre or adding something new that wasn’t there before. This Warrior review contains spoilers. Warrior Season 2 Episode 6 heads for the Mexican border for a No Holds Barred tournament that has been teased all season long. Apart from Ah Toy’s (Olivia Cheng) trips to Nellie’s (Miranda Raison) Sonoma winery in the previous episode, Warrior seldom leaves San Francisco except for one notable exception – Season 1 Episode 5: “The Blood and the Sh*t.” That was an outlier tale where Ah Sahm (Andrew Koji) and Young Jun (Jason Tobin) were transporting a coffin and got trapped by bandits in a desert saloon with several bystanders....
