These IPs will now be sold in their own auction, where any publisher/developer/company can acquire the rights to develop games within those worlds. For Homeworld fans this is the auction they have been waiting for — a chance to see a new game....

As if fans did not have enough reason to be excited about the MCU’s upcoming Spider-Man 3, Tom Holland has heaped some high praise on the sequel. Holland teased his reaction to the movie by calling it “the most ambitious standalone superhero movie ever made.” While promoting his new drama Cherry on Variety’s Awards Circuit Podcast, Holland was asked about the latest MCU Spider-Man adventure. A listing for Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy has appeared on the Microsoft Store. The bundle features the latest three games in the series, Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. No official announcement was made about this bundle, so we assume that it’s a slip up. As spotted on ResetEra, the Definitive Survivor Trilogy is due to launch on March 18, and will include all DLC that has been put out by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal, including Advantage Packs and Challenge Packs....

UK venues have been left ‘bewildered’ after Disney reversed a decision to release its live-action Mulan movie in the country’s struggling cinemas, confirming during a 3Q earnings call this week that it will now go straight to streaming service Disney+ for a premium price on 4th September. PC Gamer has revealed some of the lineup and details for the PC Gaming Show 2021, including the fact that Valve will be making an appearance there for the first time. Nevertheless, Van Helsing makes the best of the situation and relies heavily on Missy Peregrym, Andee Frizzell, and Paul Johansson to carry the load as the long awaited confrontation with the Elder finally arrives. While “Black Days” offers some interesting twists relevant to the Van Helsing family history, some of the season’s final chapter feels forced....

On May 8, the Vancouver Titans signed a new roster from Overwatch Contenders. The new roster consists primarily of players from the Contenders team, Second Wind, who have demonstrated nominal talent in both Overwatch Contenders and the Overwatch World Cup. Tanks In the tank role, Vancouver Titans now have Abtin “ShRedLock” Shirvani and Alhumaidi “KSAA” Alruwaili. ShRedLock has been playing main tank for Second Wind since June of 2019. His signature heroes are Orisa, Hammond, Winston, and Reinhardt....

Warzone players are getting better and better. Players with over a 1.0 K/D will be placed in lobbies with great players from time to time. These lobbies will not be the games to press and try to get a lot of kills. Although, players can get a decent number of kills and play for the win. Generally, teams will have an idea how good the enemy players are after a few gunfights....

A Call of Duty: Warzone leak recently made claims about private lobbies coming to the popular battle royale. This has been a long-requested feature by the Warzone community, as it would offer fans an opportunity to host private tournaments and events. It is not an uncommon feature in other titles, as many multiplayer games host private matches in some fashion. While the claim was originally dismissed, recent yweets and clips show that private lobbies may actually be on their way....

Last night at The Game Awards, Obsidian and Private Division excited sci-fi fans around the globe by announcing The Outer Worlds. The retro-futuristic title seems like a spiritual successor to Fallout: New Vegas, with The Outer Worlds featuring heavy RPG elements mixed with absurdist humor and a retro-futuristic setting. Last night’s trailer showed promise, but now fans have a brand new 15-minute gameplay demo that offers a much deeper diver into Halcyon, the solar system of the outer worlds....

Sony is shutting down the PS3 servers. This wouldn’t be a big issue except for two things: first, it means that you can’t download any PS3 games from the PlayStation Store. Second, it implies that Sony will one day shut down the servers for the PS4. And when that happens, it’ll do something far worse than just prevent people from downloading games. Inside the PS4 is a battery that keeps track of the console’s date and time....
