Twitter users who used a relatively innocuous word on Sunday suddenly found their accounts banned. Despite the social media site since claiming the glitch that caused the bans is now fixed, Twitter users are still rather puzzled why they were punished in the first place. Twitter issued a fix for a bug that was banning anyone who used the word “Memphis.” The affected users apparently have all had their accounts restored, but the mystery bans lasted several hours for some....

Raven Software, the studio handling Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, reveals two more exciting multiplayer maps that will be included at the game’s release. Gamers need only to glance at the recent graphics comparison video between the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its upcoming remake to realize that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be a massive improvement on an old classic. It’s clear that Raven Software, the studio Activision has tasked with reproducing and updating one of the most popular Call of Duty instalments ever, is approaching the remake process with the requisite amount of care and attention to detail....

Now that EA’s UFC 4 has been out a few weeks fans of the series have had a good chance to get to grips with the new mechanics and updates to its combat system. The huge roster of fighters has been updated with new fighters, the stats adjusted accordingly for the most part, and there are brand new arenas. EA supported UFC 3 long after its initial release and it was a much better game long after its launch and the developers have promised the same kind of support for this title....

A brand new and thrilling trailer for upcoming time-bending video game Cris Tales has just been released that showcases on the game’s bold protagonist. Developed by Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK, Cris Tales is a highly anticipated indie RPG set to be released for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, as well as Google Stadia this November. The game is also slated for release on the PS5 and Xbox X Series in the future....

Valve’s co-founder and managing director Gabe Newell speaks about his company’s Steam Machine, proclaiming the system to be better than modern consoles. During a recent interview, Valve’s Gabe Newell asserted that Steam Machines perform better and and are more cost efficient when compared with current-gen consoles such as Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One. Medal Of Honor: Above and Beyond is the upcoming VR experience being developed by Respawn Entertainment, in partnership with Oculus. The new title will bring players back into the world of Medal Of Honor, which has not seen a new title in quite some time. Respawn can now immerse players in a gritty cinematic World War II experience like no other title in the series. Aside from the gameplay reveal in September of 2019, there have not been any other details on the project....

It looks like Black Ops Cold War is finally going to tie itself fully into Call of Duty: Warzone. With previous seasonal releases, Black Ops Cold War seemed to just have a tangential relationship with its own smaller map and selection of 1980s-era weapons, but with season three, the Black Ops Cold War story is heading to the main Warzone map of Verdansk. Season two had everyone’s favorite UN squadron taking apart Laos looking for both CIA agent Russell Adler and a stolen batch of Nova 6 nerve gas....

When Stadium first opened in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5, fans flooded through its halls for close-combat battles. Some feared the day may never come, but it has. Twitch streamer TimTheTatman has finally, after days of grueling practice, won a round of Fall Guys. To be fair, TimTheTatman didn’t actually spent much time playing Fall Guys. However, the mockery coming from the official Fall Guys Twitter account certainly made it seem longer than it was. On September 8th, popular Twitch streamer Jinnytty got attacked by a group of deer while live streaming on her vacation in Denmark. The streamer, who was visiting a popular tourist area in Denmark, where tourists can pet, interact with, and feed the deer. In a joking manner, Jinny stated that she wanted to try to find a “legendary deer.” She soon came across a white deer, to which many of her followers dubbed “shiny” – making a clear Pokemon reference....

Christmas time allows more popular Twitch streamers to take time off to spend with family. Some smaller streamers instead take the opportunity to spend the holiday on stream, connecting with viewers on a more intimate level. If you haven’t heard, users on Twitter have gathered together to play a game of Pokemon Red through another user’s avatar—15 seconds at a time. The experiment has been going since the early part of January of this year. Although there might be some hiccups, the collective actions of Twitter have resulted in winning another gym badge in the collective game of Pokemon Red. “Twitter plays Pokemon,” as it’s come to be known, started in earnest on January 9, when amateur game developer Constantin Liétard set his Twitter profile to reflect the will of other Twitter users....

Before Ubisoft introduces audiences to the character of Connor, the protagonist in Assassin’s Creed 3, they are offering gamers the opportunity to look back on the franchise’s former hero: Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Just announced is a new Assassin’s Creed collection that would feature all three of Ezio’s adventures: Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. Dubbed Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Trilogy, this collection will be releasing on November 13th (a strange release date considering AC3 launches on October 30th), and will feature all of Assassin’s Creed 2 and all of its respective DLC, as well as the full retail versions of AC: Brotherhood and AC: Revelations....
