Based on the feedback from Electronic Arts and BioWare’s presentation for Anthem at EA Play 2018, it seems the general reception around the game is relatively mixed. What the developers were willing to show and say had promise but there were a lot of questions left unanswered and frankly, the gameplay demo didn’t inspire a lot of excitement. But once E3 2018 got into the swing of things, we were able to go hands-on with Anthem and our feelings about the game changed dramatically....

Tomb Raider film director Roar Uthaug discusses the Tomb Raider game reboot, and how he intends to incorporate Lara Croft’s character development into the movie. The slow drip of video game announcements is continuing this month as Ubisoft is starting to promote its second digital conference of the year. In a new teaser video, Ubisoft has confirmed the date for its next Ubisoft Forward event and is promising new game reveals and big updates to currently announced titles. It looks like it is finally happening. After years of anticipation, false starts, and directorial comings and goings, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Uncharted movie is expected to begin shooting later this spring. And it now has the casting news to prove it. It was announced via Variety on Monday that Antonio Banderas is joining the cast of Uncharted, which stars Tom Holland as the irrepressible Nathan Drake. The news, which also reconfirms that director Ruben Fleischer (Venom) has taken over the directorial reins, is a boon for the film given that Banderas is fresh off his first Oscar nomination for last year’s Pain and Glory....

During today’s Indie World Showcase, Nintendo announced that Untitled Goose Game will be receiving a free update that will allow for players to play through the entire game with a friend cooperatively. The announce came at the tail-end of the live event, as the final announcement of the entire showcase. The update will allow for players to experience the entirety of Untitled Goose Game with a friend, letting players cause even more hilarious chaos as two horrible geese....

We never expected that goose to evolve into an even bigger superstar, but the legendary bird is waddling its talents over to the music scene with a vinyl record release.
