Disney Plus has released a new teaser for episode four of Marvel’s WandaVision and it marks a big shift in the series. While the first three episodes have been following Wanda and Vision in the sitcom universe, this teaser gives viewers a glimpse of what has been happening outside that universe. The teaser begins with the character known in the sitcom universe as Geraldine approaching what appears to be a block of houses and a sign reading “Welcome to Westview,” the name of the sitcom town....

Wasteland 3 reviews are out today, and the general consensus appears to indicate that it’s pretty solid. If you’re curious about whether or not you should pick it up when it launches this Friday, August 28, read on. The Wasteland series is illustrious in the video game sci-fi world, having originally debuted as an Interplay RPG back in 1988. The second instalment in the series - 2014’s Wasteland 2 - didn’t arrive until 26 years later, at which point inXile entertainment had taken the reins in terms of development....

Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood is the first action-RPG title to come out of the World of Darkness mythology. Confirmed in 2020 for next-gen systems as well as PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the game follows Cahal, an eco-terrorist and member of the Garou race as he seeks to undermine the operations of the Endron mega-corporation. During Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood’s development, Cyanide Studio wanted to focus on a largely linear story to reinforce the game’s themes and experiment with Cahal’s ability to shapeshift and manage his rage....

Galadriel, Halbrand, Elendil, and the forces of Numenor have come charging in to save the day just before Adar could kill what’s left of Bronwyn’s people, and Arondir along with them. Now, with Adar and his Orc soldiers captured, a new king of the Southlands crowned, and that evil sword recovered, there’s nothing left to do but celebrate....

Geralt encounters many strange beings during his journeys. He meets one of them when he’s in Skellige, on the island Spikeroog. If he wants to complete the quest “Fists of Fury: Champion of Champions” and become the champion of fist-fighting, he first needs to finish the quest “Master of the Arena”. It’s a side quest and it has the recommended level of 14. However, it’s possible to finish on a lower level as well....

This week brings several exciting developments to League of Legends, including a preview of patch 10.10 and the long-awaited reveal of the rework for Volibear. The rework is particularly exciting because it comes as the result of last year’s community vote, one that resulted in both Volibear and Fiddlesticks seeing major work done on their toolkits to make them relevant in the game once more. The PBE for patch 10.10 is now live and there are some major changes coming to the game....

It turns out we were completely wrong. When news first broke about Christian Bale in talks to join Thor: Love and Thunder, we speculated wildly about who he might play. We found out the answer from Disney’s investor call Thursday: Bale will be playing the flick’s main villain, Gorr the God Butcher. This is a bit of a surprise choice, as you can see from our very well thought out speculation being completely wrong....

The Fallout series has always explored a broad range of topics. Depending on the stats of your character, you could make a good character who strives to protect every settlement or go a bit crazy and make a pure evil troublemaker. No matter how you decide to play, you’re offered several choices that may test your morality, and at worse, your intelligence. Since Bethesda Studios purchased the rights to the Fallout series from Interplay, fans have complained about some of the storylines and gameplay options....

E3 2015 was one of the better E3 events there’s been, with a multitude of surprise game announcements and excellent new footage of titles coming this year. Like every year, some of the E3 surprises leaked ahead of time, which included details on Transformers: Devastation, an exciting new action game from the talented people at Platinum Games. Besides the official gameplay trailer that dropped when E3 actually got underway, we haven’t heard too much about the game since....

Celebrities and companies have been showing their true colors in the coronavirus pandemic, donating money like streamer Ninja or supplies like Nintendo. And Twitch is now hosting a charity stream to help fund the COVID-19 Solidarity Response for WHO powered by the United Nations Foundation. People around the world have been effected by the novel COVID-19 coronavirus, and artists, companies, and celebrities are coming out of the woodwork to help. Devs like CD Projekt Red and Riot Games are donating money to help contain or mitigate the threat of the coronavirus....

Twitch states that the event will be hosted by its biggest streamers and will focus on deals for gaming, electronics, kitchenware, and other items. The promotional video for the upcoming day-long infomercial shows Streamers such as Jericho, AnneMunition, UmiNoKaiju, and Dexbonus, all eager to tell us about the savings to be had. The blog states, “We’ve gone through every single item on sale for Prime Day and curated the best of the best for the Twitch community,” though they are not specific on what that means....

With only a few months left before the release of the much-hyped Mortal Kombat X, we’re seeing an influx of new information about the latest installment of the fan favorite fighting series — including the final details of that all-important roster. Now, it seems that there might be a couple of character announcements set for later this week. Series co-creator Ed Boon has once again taken to Twitter to tease fans of an upcoming announcement....

It looks like Ubisoft wants to help you “git gud” at Rainbow Six Siege. The developer has partnered with Aim Lab in a bid to create an official training program for the game. Aim Lab is a creator studio that lets you build maps and training tasks in order to up your game. “You can create custom maps with insane exterior terrains, hundreds of items and an array of different bots and behaviors with custom pathing,” according to its website....

Ubisoft delays the Rainbow Six Siege open beta indefinitely after a sudden technical issue causes matchmaking difficulties and disconnections on all platforms. While Rainbow Six Siege does have a solo mode (of sorts), Ubisoft’s upcoming team shooter is very much multiplayer-focused, with players having to work together to take out enemy teams and rescue hostages. This also means that the game must have stable servers, especially as Ubisoft would surely like to avoid any Assassin’s Creed Unity-sized connectivity issues....

At least in-part due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, UK Black Friday physical game sales were down 20 percent from 2019, with Nintendo standing out despite the recent release of Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X. However, while physical sales were lower than they have been, mobile game spending hit record highs in the UK on November 27. UK residents collectively spent $6.5 million on mobile games this Black Friday alone, according to Sensor Tower data acquired by GamesIndustry....

Uncharted 4’s marketing is no doubt impressive, but a recent statement from Sony claims that it’s the largest campaign that PlayStation has ever seen. With the release date for PlayStation exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End getting ever closer, Sony has really stepped up its game in terms of marketing. According to a 2 page spread in this weeks issue of MCV, the latest in the Uncharted series is on the recieving end of “PlayStation’s largest ever” marketing campaign....

AMD’s Smart Access Memory feature was an unexpected part of its RX 6000 Series graphics cards reveal, providing better gaming performance by exclusively allowing the latest Ryzen 5000 processors to utilize the fast GDDR6 graphics memory. Already however, several motherboard manufacturers have got the feature working with selected Intel motherboards and processors, and the early results are looking just as good. Japanese publisher ASCII posted the first 1080P benchmarks using an ASUS Z490 motherboard, an Intel i9-10900K, and an RX 6800 XT reference card....

Lambda Wars, the RTS set in the iconic Half-Life universe from Valve, finally leaves beta on PC after 13 long years of development. The unofficial project started back in 2007 and is a free mod for Valve’s Alien Swarm, using the Source Engine at its core. Developers from the Vortal Storm team have announced a 1.0 release version for Lambda Wars, available on Steam now to all players for free. Lambda Wars is a standalone modification set in the Half-Life 2 universe, allowing fans to participate in the devastating war between mankind Resistance and Combine overlords across various game modes....
