Before there were Iron Man movies or Avengers films, before Spider-Man or the X-Men became blockbusters, there was one Marvel character who stood in front of all others on the big screen: Blade. Famously brought to life by Wesley Snipes across three films, Blade cut a vampire-dusting path across multiplexes between 1998 and 2004, and heralded the modern age of superhero movies along the way. But more importantly to a generation of moviegoers, Snipes’ depiction of Blade was just badass....

Since its announcement, The Outer Worlds has been mostly greeted with open arms by the gaming community. Sega Europe has once again partnered with UK based tabletop studio Games Workshop, to bring us what promises to be the perfect mashup of two of gamings’ biggest franchises. The result is Total War: Warhammer 3, a project that sees developer Creative Assembly once again returning to the fold. Trials of Mana has finally released for fans of the action JRPG Mana franchise to finalize the trilogy of remakes. During a recent livestream, Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect ran into a fan while playing Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds, with his username catching the fan’s eye and prompting him to ask if he was playing with the real Dr Disrespect. Playing it cool, Disrespect said he was also just a fan, and prodded his teammate to see how he really felt about the streamer. What followed brought him to tears. When the interactions began, Dr Disrespect tried to throw in a few ribs about how he could be annoying on occasion....

It looks like Ubisoft is starting to create its own Marvel-style shared universe of sorts. At least in its map editors. Far Cry 5 will come with Far Cry Arcade, a map editor that will allow players to place around 7,000 different objects into their custom levels.
