Campo Santo, the studio behind the popular mystery adventure game Firewatch, shared some surprising news this morning. As of today, all of Campo Santo’s 12 full-time employees will be joining Valve. It’s worth noting that Campo Santo makes no mention of a buyout or acquisition by Valve, however. The team says that it simply “agreed to join Valve.” Within Valve, the team will continue work on its current project, In the Valley of Gods....

While the origin story of The Walking Dead’s antihero former big bad was effectively revealed in Season 10 finale “Here’s Negan,” it noticeably missed most of the comic book miniseries it adapts. Indeed, the episode may have showcased the arc of Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Negan from philandering former Phys Ed teacher to post-apocalyptic barbed-wire-bat-swinging badass, but his arrival as a covetous cult leader was nowhere to be seen. However, that story might still manifest in the television universe… just not on the main show....

Film director Guillermo Del Toro - famed for movies such as Pan’s Labyrinth and Hellboy, as well as his penchant for conveying mature themes within fantasy story settings - took the stage to introduce the project as a trilogy collaboration with THQ and developer Volition, and the 30-second clip consisting solely of eerie screeches, frightful moans, and a woman staring dangerously close at a nail end had us eager for more information as the first game neared its proposed 2013 release date....
Gears of War 3 has been on store shelves for a little under a week, and Gear heads have been tearing through the game’s multiplayer modes and campaign. With a game as great as Gears of War 3 (check out our review) it’s hard to not be interested in playing it, but eventually gamers will grow a little tired of the game’s 10 multiplayer maps and beating through the campaign missions on ‘Insane’ difficulty....

Those looking to reserve a copy of the upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 on PC without dealing with Ubisoft directly had better do so soon; the publisher has recently announced that, once the games drops on the fifteenth of March, it will be exclusive to Uplay, their proprietary digital storefront, as well as one other controversial platform. News of this questionable move broke when third-party gaming retailer Gamesplanet announced on the title’s store page that Ubisoft has mandated that sales be halted once the game goes live next week....
