Ubisoft has confirmed the date and time of its E3 2017 press conference. The company is just one of several massive, planned events for the annual industry bash, with EA, Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony all set to host E3 2017 events. On Twitter, Ubisoft revealed that its #UbiE3 press conference will take place on Monday, June 12 at 1PM PT / 4PM ET / 9PM in the UK and 10PM in the rest of Europe....
Fans rally behind a voice actor who claims he wasn’t asked to return for Uncharted 4 to voice the character he made famous, but Naughty Dog claims the actor was offered the role and turned it down. Debonair thief Nathan Drake might be able to talk himself out of just about any situation, but the same cannot be said for developer Naughty Dog. The company first drew the ire of fans after announcing a delay on the highly anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, before ultimately following that delay with yet another delay that pushed the game back into May....
Universal Studios released the first trailer for its Final Fantasy XR ride, an attraction appearing at the park’s Japan location for a limited time. From January 19 until June 24, park guests can experience an original Final Fantasy-themed VR ride similar to Universal’s other VR attractions, like those found in the popular Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The major difference being that Final Fantasy XR is temporary, taking over the Space Fantasy attraction for its limited run....

This review contains spoilers. The opening moments of this week’s Utopia were dreadful in the true sense of the word. They were dreadful to watch, and, once it was made clear what was happening, dreadful to anticipate. Some will feel – perhaps justifiably – that the school shooting was a step too far into shock territory, but it’s not as if Utopia hadn’t prepared us. The tacit contract drawn up with viewers over the preceding episodes stated clearly that nobody, innocent or guilty, child or adult, was safe....

With the Disney Plus double-episode premiere of WandaVision, the audience was treated to a new style for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series places Wanda Maximoff and Vision, with all of their superpowers, into a seemingly average suburban neighborhood called Westview, but it does it in the style of a 1950s sitcom. While the episodes are full of laughs, they’ve also got plenty of unsettling moments to show the audience that reality isn’t exactly what it seems....
Today, Nintendo released an official launch trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity ahead of its November 20 launch. The nearly two-minute clip gives us a look at all the familiar faces from Breath of the Wild making a return – and reminds us this game isn’t going to have a happy ending. The trailer starts with Zelda claiming, “With all of us together, we shall prevail!” And, if you know anything about Age of Calamity, you know that’s not exactly true....
Sailor Moon Eternal, a duology of feature length animated films adapting the manga’s Dream arc, premiered in Japan back in January 2021 and dropped on Netflix the following June. This duology was highly anticipated since Sailor Moon Crystal was effectively cancelled after its well-received third season, and while some were concerned it might lack the runtime to adapt the arc authentically, the response was overwhelmingly positive. The only question that remained was when the final arc of the manga, Stars, would get the same treatment....

Creative Assembly’s Total War spin-off set in the Bronze Age of Ancient Greece and the surrounding Aegean lands came out in August of last year. It was also released for free on the Epic Game Store, which led to Total War Saga: Troy being downloaded over 7 million times in the mere 24 hours it was free....
