Ghost of Tsushima made an impact on release and many are enjoying exploring a vast open-world which is set in feudal Japan. The title has been well-received by critics and also managed to create impressive partnerships with the likes of the Kurosawa Estate and the Tsushima tourist board. The fondness I have for the original Ratchet & Clank trilogy is something that I can’t put into words, and a part of that was its characters, be it Drek, Skid McMarx, Courtney Gears, or Sasha. Insomniac has had hit after hit with its characters - barring that dreadful 2016 story - so a new Lombax is a cool prospect, but where’s Angela Cross? Ratchet & Clank is my all-time favorite game series, from its beautiful jumping puzzles to its pirate strip polls - it was a game that was a huge part of my childhood and teen years, getting me into gaming alongside Battlefield, Half-Life, and God of War, and hopefully, it will be as important for my adult years too....

The dynamic storytelling in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt often means that contracts don’t always end up being what they seem. To say that some of the puzzles in The Witness can be frustrating would be to put it mildly. Sure, developer Jonathan Blow and his team at Thekla, Inc. have provided players with all of the “tools” necessary to solve each puzzle, but sometimes the answer doesn’t seem apparent at first blush. Like with Blow’s other title, Braid, it’s the fact that you know the solution is there that can make the puzzles that much more difficult to grasp; there’s no superhuman logic required....

For $10 a month, Xbox One owners can subscribe to Microsoft’s innovative Xbox Game Pass service that grants them access to over 100 Xbox 360 and Xbox One titles.
