Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic was announced back in March 2020, face masks have become an essential part of everyday life all around the world. But if you’re in the mood for a brand new and stylish face mask that shows off your love for Pokémon, then you have to check out this upcoming deal from The Pokémon Company that can get you a free face mask.
The Pokémon Company has just announced a brand new campaign with Pokemon Center Online, which is the official website of Japan’s Pokémon Center. Beginning next week on July 27, 2020, customers who order over 10,000 yen (roughly 93 USD) worth of products from Pokémon Center Online will get a free random Pokémon fabric face mask in their order. The 10,000 yen limit also includes the 10% consumption tax.
The masks are designed by company Original Stitch and made from the Pokémon Shirt fabrics. According to images, there are nine total designs customers can receive: Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Psyduck, Slowpoke, Gengar, Ditto, Eevee, Snorlax, and Mewto. Below is a close-up photo of each of the unique designs.
Rather than prominently featuring the Pokémon on the mask, each of the nine designs opts for a more minimalistic and simple pattern, making them perfect to wear out for any occasion. People might not even realize they’re Pokémon-themed unless they’re standing close to you (which could also be a good indicator to help you figure out who’s keeping a safe distance from you). From the photos, it also appears the masks are sturdy and well made, meaning they’ll keep you healthy as you practice safe social distancing practices.
Currently, there is no listed end date for this promotion. However, according to a report from Nintendo Soup, the masks will only be available until stocks last, so interested customers are encouraged to take advantage of this offer as soon as possible ensure masks will still be in stock.
