The Sims Twitter account seems to be hinting at a new DLC pack to be dropping for The Sims 4. The post indicates that more information will be available about the potential DLC or content pack sometime tomorrow, as it links to a YouTube video which premiers May 6th.

So far all that has been shared is a gif of a windmill with the caption “Green Plumbobs? I’m a big fan!” The linked YouTube video is titled “How green is your Plumbob?” and features a still from the same gif as its thumbnail, meaning fans will know what’s going on soon enough. Although this is almost guaranteed to be related to The Sims 4, nothing is confirmed yet.

Those that don’t know (or don’t remember) what a Plumbob is would be forgiven, as it isn’t referred to by name very frequently. The plumbob is the green crystal which floats over Sims’ heads and indicates their mood; the greener it is the happier the Sim.

With all this in mind, it seems that the new DLC may be focused on going green, providing players with new sustainable energy sources and other options to minimize their carbon footprint. Players interested in this sort of thing should check out the video linked above at 8 AM PT tomorrow.

The Sims 4 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
