As the very first stuff pack for The Sims 4, Luxury Party Stuff feels quite lacking compared to its later counterparts. However, it was trying to fill in a very specific gap that the base game had, party and formal wear. 10 Furniture: Buffet Table

The main item in this pack furniture wise is the buffet table. There’s a modern glass version as well as a more traditional table with a long floor length two-tone table cloth.

Both versions allow you to click on them and fill them with ready prepared food dishes, saving time waiting for a caterer. This makes them ideal not just for parties but also for weddings, just add cake.

9 Create A Sim: Long Formal Dresses

There are four different long dresses in this pack to suit different tastes. Some are intricate and bedazzling, while others are plainer. All of them have different swatches so you can choose how much your sim wants to stand out.

Plunging necklines, unique designs, and even cutout sides, the different styles are versatile enough to be used for different occasions.

8 Furniture: Chocolate Fountain

Complimenting the buffet table is the food and drink fountain. You can use this to serve punch or go all out and make it into a chocolate fountain.

It is a stand-alone item but also fits perfectly on the top of the buffet tables, making sure sims have access to either drinks or dessert, alongside the buffet food.

7 Create A Sim: Suits For All

If you prefer suits to skirts then this pack also has you covered, whatever your gender preference for clothing. Men have three different suits with different levels of detail in their designs. They vary from sparkling accessories to full-on dazzling designs.

You’ll also find a shirt and waistcoat as well as feminine and masculine styled jackets with tops underneath. There are also two pairs of plain trousers and a corset top that make more unique suit options for female sims.

6 Furniture: Sophisticated Seating

The seating in this pack is quite an odd selection but does have a lot of uses. There’s a cushioned bar stool and ottoman which are handy extras but the highlight is the dining chair.

This chair matches well with the glittery style circular table but more importantly, the cloth over the back of the seat makes it reminiscent of decorated chairs you find at weddings. It looks fabulous placed on the sand at a beach wedding or lined up in a beautiful building.

5 Create A Sim: So Many Shoes

If you feel like the base game is lacking in shoes that worry not as this pack has several options. There are two pairs of patterned flats as well as two pairs of heels.

One pair of flats has a simple two-tone design, while the other has some shiny embellishments on the front. Jewelry may sound like something that would be too extravagant to be versatile but this pack surprised us. While there are some ornate necklaces, you’ll also find some simple bracelets and stylish earrings.

The swatches mean you can match these accessories to different outfits and the plain bangles, in particular, look great with many different styles.

2 Furniture: Unique Lighting

The pack is rounded out with some unique lighting options. There’s a decorative statue with lights inside, offering a modern twist on light, as well as a neon cube. The cube matches the bar and we’re entirely unsure what its purpose is.

Finally, there is a panel-based light that has a funky modern vibe and a cinema-style floor to ceiling curtain that has subtle lights around its edges.

1 Create A Sim: Make-Up And Hair Options

Sims who are going out to a party need to look great and your sims look can be finished off with new hairstyles and makeup options. There are some short styles showing crops, quiffs, and spikes as well as a long style with bangs and another with a lot of volume.

You’ll also find several new options for vibrant eyeliner, eyeshadow, and lipstick options. These work well together to make your sims stand out from the crowd.
