The Moschino Stuff Pack for The Sims 4 was initially met with criticism. When it was announced alongside Island Living at EA Play in 2019, the crowd was notably quiet, especially in comparison to when the news was followed up by the teaser that the next game pack would be called Realm of Magic.
However, the pack, despite being a spin-off the much panned Moschino and The Sims collaboration, turned out to be far more in-depth than anyone expected. It actually became the first Stuff Pack to feature a brand new career, the freelance photographer career, and the build and buy catalog, in particular, was widely praised. Here are the pack’s highlights.
10 Furniture: Wallpaper
The wallpaper design is incredibly vibrant but the color swatches give it more versatility than you’d initially think. The monochrome, yellow and red swatches in particular work well in smaller rooms of modern houses to add a touch of detail.
The pattern tiles well and gives walls more life. This wallpaper can also be used as a feature wall to add a hint of color to a room.
9 Create A Sim: Plumbob Swimsuit
The plumbob swimsuit combines the well-known sims iconic headline effect with Moschino’s unique style. This swimsuit was actually available in stores as well and is a perfect blend of the two brands.
One-piece swimsuits are in short supply in the game and this option lets you rep your sims love in a truly iconic and great-looking way.
8 Furniture: Studio Equipment
Any good photographer needs good equipment and this pack really delivers. The basic backdrop on the left offers a range of plain and patterned swatches and when combined with the small lights makes a great home studio setup.
The larger backdrop is modular and fits together however you desire. Once assembled you can also choose from a wide range of static and dynamic backgrounds while in live mode. There are also larger lights, a tripod, and photography markers, to make sure your subjects stand in the perfect position.
7 Create A Sim: Male Loungewear
Male items are often lacking in create a sim content so this loungewear style casual outfit is a great addition. The swatches feel fun but also usable, making this a must for any Sim who wants to relax in designer style.
Both top and bottoms are separates so colors could be mixed and contrasted or either part could be paired with an alternative, giving flexibility as well as comfort.
6 Furniture: Artwork
The artwork in this pack is simple, modern, and striking. These large images make a great addition to any modern mansion but the artwork doesn’t end here.
You’ll also discover digital photo frames in different sizes that will display photos of your choosing, from those your Sim has taken.
5 Create A Sim: Moschino Women’s Suits
These women’s suits are brightly colored and perfectly tailored. While the jumpsuit style has only these black and gold swatches, the other suit comes in a range of colors from neutral to noticeable.
These are the most wearable women’s fashion items and the skirt, in particular, will match well with many other items. You’ll also notice the colorful and stylish heels, which also come with the pack.
4 Furniture: Windows And Doors
If you want to build a loft studio, penthouse, or even an industrial build, these windows and doors are ideal. The ones on the left are open and the right-hand side versions are closed. All windows can be matched up together to create unique styles.
The swatches are mostly monochrome but there are a couple more colorful options. However, the black, white, and grey variations are perfect for the majority of builds.
3 Create A Sim: Iconic Patterened Items
This iconic Moschino pattern is perfectly replicated on this men’s suit but we also love how there is a plain version available as well. It’s great to be able to mix and match the bold pattern with a more subtle style.
For the women, the pattern appears on a skirt but there is no matching top, although you could remove the filters and use the male one. Both male versions are also two-piece items meaning the mix and match look can be created on both male and female sims.
2 Furniture: Lounge Furniture
Lounge furniture was an unexpected addition to this pack but it’s very welcome. These patterned and plain modular looking chairs and sofas add a touch of class to a lounge or help create the perfect waiting area in your studio.
The sleek tables are a nice addition with some neutral swatches, and the bookcases are some of the best in the game.
1 Create A Sim: Teddy Dresses
One of the staples of many female Sims stylish wardrobes, these dresses feature fabulous Moschino prints. Above you see just a small range of the swatches but all dresses carry one of these two patterns.
They match perfectly with the shoes, are simple and understated yet still elegant, and can be easily accessorized with a variety of different items to create either a casual or more upmarket look.
