The Sims 4: Nifty Knitting is the second community voted stuff pack, with Laundry Day Stuff being the first, and its contents are more niche than many expected. While it does contain a few more versatile items, such as the new door and lounge set, most are very heavily knitting and craft themed. This means that for anyone who hates the idea of knitting this pack is likely not for you.

However, for those who embrace knitted styles, you’ll find a huge array of clothing, some crafty furniture items, and a few new features. The most prominent feature is the new Plopsy marketplace that allows players to sell their sims crafts online, shipping them off to make a profit. However, there are also two new radio stations and even a new aspiration.

10 Furniture: Rocking Chair

The rocking chair is the main focus of this pack. Sims can not only enjoy a peaceful rest but they can knit in the chair and elders can use the unique reminisce option, recalling old memories of their lives.

The chair itself comes in several colors and there are options with and without both arms and cushions, making four variations in total. This makes the style truly flexible, whatever your home looks like.

9 Create A Sim: Beanies For All

Anyone who starts the knitting skill will discover that the first thing you can create is a range of beanies. These are especially versatile since they come in different sizes and styles.

You’ll find a range of colors and designs to match a variety of looks. While every item is animal themed, meaning they aren’t for those who want something plain and simple, these cute hats fit every age group from toddler to elder and everyone in between.

8 Furniture: Sofa And Chair

This tub style sofa and chair are simple, cute, and come in a variety of vibrant swatches. It’s designed to complement other furniture in the pack but also matches many items from other DLC in the game.

The contrasting cushions are more neutral than some and while similar to other options, this is nevertheless a versatile furniture option for lounges and craft spaces alike.

7 Create A Sim: Casual And Bedazzled Jeans

The pack contains a basic but very versatile pair of jeans. This unisex design comes with several swatches and features a belt and rolled-up cuffs.

For those who want to look extra, there’s also a version that features some sparkling styling on the front. These swatches are very much love or hate but for those with a glitter obsession, they’ll fulfill your bedazzling dreams.

6 Furniture: Cute Clutter

This pack is full of crafty clutter. As well as knitted toys and decorative items, there are also embroidered wall decorations, knitted plant pot holders, and a small loom and craft book.

A particular favorite is the ball of wool. It may look boring but you can leave this for your cats to play with and enjoy the adorable animations that ensue.

This pack contains so many knitted items that they have a list of their own but we couldn’t overlook the fact that babies and toddlers are finally getting some love. For the first time, you can dress a baby in a onesie of your choice. No longer will they need to simply be adorned in the hideous green default style.

1 Create A Sim: New Ombre Hairstyles

This pack comes with four unique hairstyles, a retro-style jaw-length style, a dreadlocked design, and two crops that are short on the sides and longer on top.

At first, they seem similar to existing styles but the true uniqueness is in the second set of swatches for the shortest style. These swatches are ombre but feature grey roots with more vibrant colored hair, rather than a more equal ombre style.
