It has begun. The Steam Summer Sale is upon us. Gaze upon your wallet, and weep. But not for too long since there are some pretty sweet deals to be had out there.

Steam is once again demanding our money thanks to the Steam Summer Sale. This means huge discounts on the biggest library of PC games from the undisputed king of PC digital storefronts (sorry Epic, a few free games just doesn’t compare to thousands of games so cheap that they’re almost free).

This year’s theme is Road Trip Special, which seems to be a bad message considering there’s still an epidemic going on. We’d figure it’d be better to have a theme that was more like “Stay Home Where It’s Safe Special,” but what do we know? We’re not marketers. Maybe this is more of an aspirational message than an actual call to go on a road trip.

Plus, the wifi sucks in a motorhome.

Anyway, let’s take a look at some deals. Borderlands 3? 50% off. Destiny 2? You can grab both Forsaken and Shadowkeep expansions in a bundle for 33% off. Terraria is just five bucks thanks to a 50% discount, and it’s widely regarded as one of the best games ever made.

EA has recently made its way to Steam after finally giving up on its own digital platform, so now you can have Titanfall 2 at a 67% discount. Dark Souls III Deluxe Edition and The Witcher 3 Game Of The Year Edition are on sale for 75% off and 70% off, respectively. Rainbow Six Siege can be had with a 60% discount, and Sonic Generations Collection is on sale for just one dollar (thanks to a 95% discount).

These are all great games worth owning. And if you buy them, you’ll get Steam Points that can be redeemed in the points store for social stuff, like animated avatars, frames, player backgrounds, and emotes and stickers.

Best of all, no matter what you buy, if you spend more than $30 you get a $5 discount at checkout. Steam really knows how to make a game out of rampant consumerism.

The Steam Summer Sale is on now until July 9th at 10 AM Pacific Time.
