The Manticore set is introduced during the Blood & Wine DLC and can be accessed by meeting the Grandmaster Craftsman in Beauclair. Equipping the monster slayer with all six pieces of Manticore gear will also boost the number of charges for alchemy items by one.
The grandmaster-level Witcher gear may be recognizable to some as it is the same armor set that Geralt wore during the inaugural Witcher video game. The armor can only be crafted by the grandmaster armorer in Toussaint. Each diagram can be discovered on their own or by completing the Master Master Master Master! quest.
Manticore Steel Sword
First, travel to the Corvo Bianco Vineyard in The Duchy of Toussaint and then head west until reaching the other side of the small pond. Inside the ruins overlooking the infinite fields of Toussaint, climb up onto the wall next to the broken tower.
Use the Witcher Senses to find the loose brick. Behind the brick is the diagram for the steel weapon. Once found, collect leather scraps, dimeritium ingots, ruby dust, and monster saliva to craft the blade. With a damage rating between 335-409 and a boost in experience from humans, equipping this weapon will persuade any unlucky human in giving up their entire Gwent card library to the Witcher.
Manticore Armor
The diagram for the armor is tucked away in the cave next to the Gelenser Farm. Head inside and follow the path that will lead the player to a piece of paper tacked to the wall with the diagram drawn on the other side.
The chest piece will gift Geralt a 240 armor rating along with a boost in critical damage and damage resistance. To craft the chest piece, the White Wolf will require cured draconoid leather, dimeritium plates, monster eyes, and monster ears.
Manticore Trousers, and Boots
There are a pair of diagrams tucked away at this next hiding spot. Head to the Prophet Lebioda Statue marker and enter the abandoned temple next to it. Straight ahead is a wall playing the part of a doorway with the help of Geralt and Aard.
There will be a ghostly guest waiting inside the room with the instructions sitting in a small chest on the table. Ingredients needed for the trousers include cured draconoid leather, dimeritium ingot, a monster claw, and monster blood.
Manticore Silver Sword
Beneath the Palace Gardens is an entrance to the cave homing the diagram for the second Manticore weapon. Swim inside the cave and follow the path through the gas-filled tunnels until reaching a mysterious man defending the diagram.
With a damage rating between 472-576 and a 50% critical hit damage bonus, the player will first have to find leather scraps, dimeritium ingots, a ruby, and a monster brain to equip the sword.
Manticore Gauntlets
The final piece of Manicore gear can be found at the bottom of a pond near the Basane Farm. After dealing with the group of bandits defending the dock, dive in and use the Witcher Senses to find a satchel containing the last diagram. This gear includes a resistance boost to elemental and slashing damage. Materials needed to craft the gauntlets are cured draconid leather, meteorite silver plate, monster hair, and of course, monster blood.
