There could be more Xbox consoles on the way, as a software developer has found yet another codename within the Xbox One operating system.

A Twitter user by the name of “bllyhlbrt” was digging through Xbox One’s OS, where they found mentions of Lockheart – the rumored codename for the Xbox Series S. It didn’t end there, however, as the user found codenames Dante, Edinburgh, and Count too. According to leaks, Dante is a profiling mode used in the Xbox Series S to help developers test their games on the next-gen console. Although Edinburgh has also shown up in the past, this is the first time that codename Count has been discovered.

One Twitter user by the name of “Kirby0Louise” points out that Edinburgh could be the retail codename for the rumored Xbox Series S. They also point out that this is in line with codenames used for X and S lines of the upcoming Xbox. The Series X and Xbox One X are named after deadly animals; The Xbox One X was named project Scorpio, and the Series X was named Anaconda. The Xbox One S’s original codename was Edmonton, so if the Series S does exist, having a codename named after a capital city makes sense.

However, nobody knows what is up with the Count codename that appeared in the operating system. It could be related to project xCloud, or it could be another version of Xbox Series X/S. Perhaps it is Microsoft’s version of a VR headset, though they have stated in the past that they are not interested in getting into medium right now. The Count does not line up with the capital cities or deadly animals that the Series X and Series S codenames do, so it’s a curious discovery.

Microsoft is expected to reveal more details about the Series X during their July 23 Games Showcase, recently announced via Twitter. With any luck, they will unveil details about the rumored Series S, price point details, new games, and maybe even explain codename Count.
