The Xbox Game Pass is dropping three games from its service at the end of the month. The amount of dropped games at the end of this month is much less punishing than the nearly 25 games that took their leave from the service at the end of May.

The three games being dropped this time around are, all things considered, not huge sellers for the service right now. They are:

  • Bard’s Gold (Xbox One) Resident Evil 6 (Xbox One) Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine (Xbox 360)

The only AAA title leaving the Xbox Game Pass this time around would be Resident Evil 6 - a game that was not well-received by many people, least of all the franchise veterans. Monaco is a well-liked but often overlooked title, and Bard’s Gold is another generally off-the-radar game that the majority of Game Pass owners will have overlooked by now.

Many Xbox Game Pass owners were likely anxious about this month’s dropped titles, considering the mass exodus that happened a couple of months ago, which is still a fresh loss for Microsoft’s “Netflix for games” subscription. The service dropped a massive chunk of its library, leaving some users of the service feeling uneasy about whether or not their favorite games would continue to be supported.

The list of games removed in May was almost entirely focused on Xbox 360 games, but it featured a heavy volume of well-liked AAA titles. The entire Bioshock franchise was removed from the service, along with SoulCalibur, XCOM: Enemy Within, Borderlands, Dead Rising 2, and more. A few Xbox One titles also took a hit, with Blood Bowl 2 and Mad Max also being wiped away from the Game Pass.

If you would like to continue playing any of the three games being removed this month after they leave the Game Pass, you can take advantage of the 20% discount that Xbox Game Pass members receive when purchasing them from the Microsoft Store. If you’re looking for more reasons to stick to the service, Microsoft announced several huge titles that would launch with it at E3 this year.
