There’s no better companion to your Pokémon adventure than your favorite starter, which is obviously Scorbunny. So here’s a controller that will signal your starter allegiance even without turning on your Switch.
We’re not going to beat around the bush here: Scorbunny is the best starter in Pokémon Sword & Shield and you can’t convince me otherwise. But what you can do is fly your Scorbunny team colors by purchasing this Scorbunny Nintendo Switch controller from PowerA.
PowerA makes this controller thanks to an official license from Nintendo. They make a lot of other controllers too, also for different home consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One. But none of them have a Scorbunny on the front, so that makes this one special.
Unlike your regular Switch Pro controller, the wireless Scorbunny PowerA controller comes with two AA batteries that provide far longer battery life at the expense of being slightly worse for the environment. Or you could get rechargeable AAs and they’d be equally good for the environment (or equally bad, depending on how you look at battery technology).
This controller is completely wireless using Bluetooth 5.1. It also has the usual motion controls and mappable advanced gaming buttons (whatever that means).
They’ve got a bunch of other controller designs available too, but Scorbunny’s is the cheapest. No idea why–Scorbunny is the best starter, after all. But if you really wanted, there’s a Groakie, a KK Slider, and a Tom Nook version too. Oh, and a Doom Eternal one, but that might clash a bit with Pokémon’s less gruesome aesthetic.
